Gold Hongye Paper (Nantong) to expand a 1.26 million tpy tissue paper project
Gold Hongye Paper (Nantong) Co., Ltd. plans to build a new tissue paper expansion project. This project will cover an additional area of 2,167.19 mu, with an investment of 14.2 billion yuan, mainly including 10 tissue machines with the capacity of 60,000 tpy, 22 tissue machines with the capacity of 30,000 tpy, 19 lines for hygiene products and supporting public and auxiliary works, environmental protection works, etc.
China Gold Sun Machinery’s second paper towel machine put into operation in China Nantong Base of Gold Hongye
On September 8, China Gold Sun Machinery’s second paper towel machine was successfully put into production in APP (China)’s Gold Hongye Nantong Base.
The machine is equipped with long mesh dewatering, double-roll press, Yankee cylinder, automatic paper carrying system and other technologies and equipment, and is quite different from the traditional new crescent or vacuum cylinder tissue machines in forming and dewatering.

China Baosuo Enterprise Group settled another tissue paper turnkey project in South Africa, a country along the “Belt and Road”
Recently, another tissue paper turnkey project of China Baosuo Enterprise Group was officially settled in South Africa, a country along the “Belt and Road”. This is a further regional collaboration following the general contract project of tissue machine signed between Baosuo and PROXIMOLTD in South Africa on October 18, 2017. The project has an annual capacity of 20,000 tpy tissue paper, and is expected to be put into production in Q1 2023.
Recently, China Lee & Man held a signing ceremony for 1.1 million tpy pulp paper full industry chain project in Luzhou, Sichuan, China. In this project, the company plans to build production lines with the capacity of 300,000 tpy chemical pulp, 400,000 tpy tissue parent roll and 400,000 tpy converted tissue paper, as well as e-commerce sales and supporting logistics park. The construction period is 18 months, with a planned total investment of 11 billion yuan, including foreign investment of 1.22 billion dollars.

Asia Symbol (Guangdong) Paper successfully put two TMs into production
Both machines were supplied by China Baosuo Group, with a width of 2,850 mm and a design speed of 1,600 m/min. The design capacity is 25,000 tpy. The machine uses wood pulp material produced by Asia Symbol itself.
China Shouguang Meilun Paper’s tissue paper project completed its relocation and put into production
China Shouguang Meilun Paper’s tissue production relocation project was formally completed and put into production, and a total of 150 million yuan was invested to achieve the relocation of tissue paper production lines to China Shouguang Chenming Industrial Park. The tissue machine and control system were provided by Valmet. The tissue machine has a width of 5,600 mm and a speed of 2,000 m/min.
On September 1, Asia Symbol (Guangdong) Paper put two new crescent tissue machines, TM11 and TM12, into production successfully.

Andritz will supply a TM to Yuen Foong Yu
China Yibin Paper Industry plans to build three new pulp paper lines with the total capacity of 690,000 tons
Recently, the Chinese Yibin Paper publicized the information on its structure adjusting, technology upgrading and capacity expansion project, which includes the construction of a new chemical bamboo pulp line with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons, a new chemimechanical pulp line with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, a new unbleached tissue machine with an annual capacity of 240,000 tons and a converting line, as well as related supporting facilities for construction and rebuild. At the same time, the product program of the existing 150,000tpy chemical pulp line will be adjusted for an annual capacity of 126,100 tons of bleached chemical bamboo pulp and 23,900 tons of unbleached chemical bamboo pulp.
Andritz has received an order from Yuen Foong Yu Consumer Products Co., Ltd. to supply a PrimeLineCOMPACT M1600 TM to its plant in Qingshui district, Taiwan, China, which is expected to start up in Q4 2023.

New Projects
The tissue machine has a design capacity of 112 tpd, a width of 3.65 m and a highest speed of 1,650 m/min. It will be used to produce tissue paper. It adopts a new PrimePress XT Evo shoe press technology with 18-ft PrimeDry steel Yankee cylinder and PrimeDry Canopy Hood ventilation cover. The scope of supply also includes stock preparation system, flow system, broke system, control system, as well as installation, commissioning and start-up guidance service training.
Sateri officially started China Tongling nonwovens project
On September 8, Sateri (Tongling) Nonwoven Material Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for its project with an annual capacity of 37,000 tons of spunlaced nonwovens and 5,000 tons of nonwovens.

China Vanov achieved a net profit of 17.627 million yuan in the first half of 2022
On August 25, China Vanov released its financial report. In the first half of 2022, the company’s operating revenue was about 77.372 million yuan (including revenue from tissue paper making felt: 1.929 million yuan), up 1.12% year on year. Gross profit was about 39.685 million yuan, an increase of about 1.56% year on year.
China C&S achieved operating revenue of 4.368 billion yuan in the first half of 2022
On August 30, China C&S Paper Co., Ltd. released its financial report. In the first half of 2022, the company’s operating revenue was about 4.368 billion yuan, up 2.82% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed companies was about 228 million yuan, down 44.09% year on year.

On August 26, China Haoyue Personal Care released its financial report. In the first half of 2022, the company’s operating revenue was 1.277 billion yuan, up 17.70% year on year. Among them, the revenue from baby care products was about 908 million yuan, up 18.66% year on year. The revenue from adult hygiene products reached 282 million yuan, up 6.4% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 161 million yuan, down 16.37% year on year.

In the first half of 2022, China Welfare’s operating revenue was about 165 million yuan, an increase of about 0.18% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed companies was about -6,791,300 yuan, a decrease of 221.42% year on year; basic earnings per share was -0.13 yuan, a decrease of about 218.18% year on year. The year-over-year decrease in net income was mainly due to an increase in operating costs and a decrease in gross profit.
China Little Nurse achieved operating revenue of 109 million yuan in the first half of 2022
In the first half of 2022, the operating revenue of Little Nurse (Tianjin) was about 109 million yuan, an increase of about 54.46% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed companies was about 322,000 yuan, a decrease of about 95.93% year on year; basic earnings per share was 0.01 yuan, a decrease of about 93.33% year on year.
China Qiaohong New Material achieved operating revenue of about 70.34 million yuan in the first half of 2022
In the first half of 2022, Nanning Qiaohong New Material’s operating revenue was about 70,338,800 yuan, up 58.22% year on year; net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed companies was about -2,0968,200 yuan, down 48.08% year on year; basic earnings per share was about -0.0786 yuan, down 48.08% year on year.

Two group standards jointly applied by China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute approved for establishment
On August 31, two group standards, Quality Grading and Assessment Requirements for Leading Products-Sanitary Napkins, Quality Grading and Assessment Requirements for Leading Products-Baby Diapers, jointly applied by China National Pulp and Paper Research Institute, Sinolight Hygiene Products and other companies, passed the audit of group standard technical committee of China Technical Association of Paper Industry, and were approved for establishment. The development of these two group standards will serve as the basis for the development of the “forerunner” standard evaluation scheme for enterprises producing sanitary napkins and baby diapers.
