China Daddy Baby achieved business revenue of 205 million yuan in the first half of 2021
In the first half of the year, China Daddy Baby’s business revenue reached 205 million yuan, a decrease of 60.01% compared with the same period of last year. The gross profit margin was 41.53%. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies amounted to 14.6944 million yuan, representing a year-on-year decrease of 81.47%. The decrease of revenue is mainly caused by the decline of its face mask business in the first half of 2021 when the pandemic is basically controlled in China.

Net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 192 million yuan, a decrease of 48.76% from the same period last year. In the second quarter of 2021, its performance maintained growth compared with the first quarter.

China COCO achieved business revenue of 630 million yuan in the first half of 2021
China COCO achieved business revenue of 630 million yuan in the first half of the year, representing a year-on-year decrease of 21.14%. And the net profit amounted to 67.3625 million yuan, representing a year-on-year decrease of 48.71%.
China Yiyi achieved business revenue of 573 million yuan in the first half of 2021
The business revenue of Tianjin Yiyi in the first half of 2021 was 573 million yuan, a decrease of 2.38% from the same period last year. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 60.3496 million yuan, a decrease of 45.73% from the same period last year.
As the first listed company of pet hygiene products in China, in the first half of 2021, Yiyi’s pet disposable hygiene products accounted for 92.61% of the revenue, achieving a business revenue of 530 million yuan, an increase of 9.36% over the same period last year.
In the first half of 2021, Unicharm’s net sales increased by 5.7% to 22.35 billion yuan
On August 4, 2021, Unicharm released a performance report for the second quarter of 2021. The report showed that from January 1 to June 30, 2021, the net sales of Unicharm were about 22.35 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7% over the same period last year. The net profit attributable to the owner of the parent company was about 2.37 billion yuan, an increase of 107.3% over the same period last year. Unicharm expects net sales to reach about 45.66 billion yuan in 2021, an increase of 5.8% over the same period last year.

According to the statistics of CNHPIA, from January to August 2021, the cumulative new capacity of tissue paper in China totaled 1.782 million tons. In addition, there are projects that have been put into operation but have not been made public. Therefore, the cumulative new capacity from January to August has exceeded the total new capacity in 2020. Among them, in the past August, a total of 5 tissue machines were put into operation, adding 107 thousand tons of new capacity.

Andritz will provide a tissue paper production line for Asia Symbol (Guangdong, China) Paper
Andritz will provide the entire line of tissue paper production from pulp preparation system to tissue machine and automation system for the plant of Asia Symbol (Guangdong, China) Paper in Jiangmen Xinhui. The start-up time is expected to be the end of 2022. The signing tissue machine has a design speed of 1,900m/min and a width of 5.65m. It is used for producing wipes, kitchen tissue, paper napkins and facial tissue with a grammage of 11 to 42g/m².

Orient Champion Group will build a tissue paper project in two phases in Dangtu County, Anhui Province
Recently, Dangtu County, Anhui Province publicized the environmental impact report of the tissue paper project with an annual capacity of 360,000 tons of Anhui Orient Champion before approval.
According to the published environmental impact assessment report, the project is planned to be constructed in two phases. Four tissue machines with a total capacity of 120,000 tpy will be constructed in the first phase, and they will be completed and put into operation in 2024. Eight tissue machines with a total capacity of 240,000 tpy will be constructed in the second phase, and they will be completed and put into operation in 2026.
The pulp preparation system of China Vinda Yangjiang factory, supplied by Andritz, was started successfully
The pulp preparation system matching the tissue machine production line supplied by Andritz to Vinda’s Yangjiang factory has been successfully started. The newly started system provides multiple pulp preparation lines with bleached softwood kraft pulp, bleached hardwood kraft pulp and bagasse pulp as raw materials. Andritz offers a full
range of systems including low concentration pulpers, high concentration refining systems, flow systems and broke treatment systems.

China Sateri’s tissue project signed a contract to settle in Jinying (Jiangxi) industrial park, Jiujiang City, China
On August 29, the signing ceremony of Sateri’s tissue and white cardboard project in Jinying (Jiangxi) Industrial Park was held in Lianxi District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China. The construction site of the tissue project with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons is located in the chemical fiber industrial base of Lianxi District, with a land area of about 450 mu and an investment of about 2.5 billion yuan.
Valmet will invest in the construction of a new service center in Guangxi Province China
Valmet will invest in the construction of a new service center in Beihai, Guangxi Province, which is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2023. The new service center will provide services to customers involved in the pulp and paper industry in Guangxi and its surrounding areas, focusing on roller maintenance, pulp equipment services and on-site services including normal shutdown management.
On September 7, China Dezhou Shenggang Paper started up its No.5 crescent tissue machine provided by Baotuo. The tissue machine has a design speed of 1,300m/min, a width of 3,600mm,
TM5 of China Dezhou Shenggang Paper was successfully put into operation
and an annual capacity of 25,000t. After its operation, Shenggang Paper will achieve an annual capacity of more than 100,000 tons and become a promising tissue paper enterprise in the northern Shandong Province of China.

The crescent tissue machine of China Shengda Paper Industry, supplied by China Fujia Dazheng was successfully put into operation
Recently, the 2850-1800 crescent tissue machine of Guangxi Nanning Shengda Paper Industry, supplied by China Shandong Fujia Dazheng Machinery Technology, was successfully put into operation. The tissue machine has a design speed of 1800m/min. The diameter of its drying cylinder is 4.88m, and the diameter of its vacuum press roll is 1.42m, which is the first of its kind in China.

On September 20, the tissue machine of Xingrong Paper, supplied by China Weituo Machinery, was successfully put into operation in Baoding City, Hebei Province, China.
The machine has a width of 3,550mm, a design speed of 1,400m/min and a capacity of 30000tpy. It adopts an international advanced energy-saving breathable hood, multi-stage turbulent headbox and high-performance frequency converter, all of which are independently developed and manufactured by Weituo.

The crescent tissue machine of China Liuzhou Liulin Paper was successfully put into operation
On September 9, China Liuzhou Liulin Paper started up its third crescent tissue machine. The tissue machine is supplied by Xi’an Weiya Papermaking Machinery, with a trimmed width of 2,850mm and a design speed of 1,500m/min. The successful launch of the new tissue machine allows the tissue parent roll capacity of Liulin Paper to exceed 40000tpy.

On August 26, the YFY Consumer Goods Industry held a pre-listing performance announcement meeting. It is expected to be listed in Taiwan Stock Exchange in late September, becoming the largest listed company of consumer products in Taiwan Province, China. In 2020, the consolidated business revenue of the YFY Consumer Goods Industry was NT$10.148 billion, and the net profit after tax was NT$1.487 billion. In August 2021, Fujian Minghe New Material Technology Co., Ltd. installed a German W&H ten-color flexographic printing machine—Miraflex IIM10, which is expected to be put into operation in October. The equipment was imported by Minghe in 2020 and has applied the world’s leading flexographic technology, with a packaging speed of 500m/min.

Vinda International received a sustainability performance-linked loan of HK$300 million
