Polyrocks Chemical acquired 55% equity of China Guanzhen Technology and explore the African market
On November 3, Polyrocks Chemical, a supplier of breathable films for diapers in China, announced that it had acquired 55% equity of China Guanzhen Technology and became one of the controlling shareholders. Through the capacity combination and resource integration, Polyrocks Chemical will achieve a large-scale capacity of about 43,500tpy, and it is expected to become the largest manufacturer of breathable films in China.
In addition, the plants built by Polyrocks Chemical in Nigeria, Africa, were put into operation in October 2021. Relying on the acquisition, the new plants will seize the African consumer markets of hygiene products materials.

China Shandong Xinhe provides tissue machine for Uzbekistan ENM INFIN
China Shandong Xinhe will provide an energy-saving crescent tissue machine for ENM INFIN, a tissue paper converting enterprise in Uzbekistan. The project is expected to be put into operation in July 2022.

TM3 of China Baoding Shunfa Sanitary Products Co., Ltd. was put into operation successfully
On October 23, TM3 of China Baoding Shunfa Sanitary Products Co., Ltd. was put into operation successfully. The crescent tissue machine, supplied by China Baotuo, has a capacity of 20,000tpy. It uses wood pulp as raw material.
TM1 and TM2 of Leiyang Cailun Paper of China Shaoneng Group were put into operation successfully
On November 3, Leiyang Cailun Paper of China Shaoneng Group started its TM1 and TM2 for its tissue paper project. Both of them are supplied by China Baotuo. In June 2020, China Baosuo Group and Shaoneng Group signed a general contract project, which includes a total of 16 sets of Baotuo tissue machines with a tissue paper capacity of 320,000tpy. The project plans to produce parent tissue roll with a capacity of 96,000tpy and parent facial tissue roll with a capacity of 224,000tpy.

The first crescent tissue machine of China Jiangmen World Great Paper was successfully put into operation
On October 31, the first crescent tissue machine of China Jiangmen World Great Paper was successfully put into operation. The machine is supplied by China Shandong Fujia Dazheng, and plans to produce tissue paper with a grammage of 38 g/m² to 42 g/m².
Sichuan Bamboo Pulp Paper Integration Project of China C&S received approval from Environmental Impact Assessment
Recently, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Sichuan Province has provided a written reply on the environmental impact report of the Bamboo Pulp Paper Integration Project of China C&S (Dazhou) with a capacity of 300,000tpy. Upon completion, the project will have a bleached sulfate bamboo pulp capacity of 318,000tpy, all of which will be used to produce parent tissue roll, and finally the capacity of bamboo pulp finished products will be 300,000tpy.

Baoding Mancheng Yongli Papermaking Factory started up its crescent tissue machine
On November 15, the first crescent tissue machine of ManchengYongli Papermaking Factory in Baoding City, China, was successfully put into operation. The machine is supplied by China Baoding Changda Papermaking Machinery, with a width of 3,550mm, a design speed of 1,400m/min and a design capacity of 25,000tpy.
The crescent tissue machine of China Zhengsen Paper, supplied by China Baoding Weituo, was successfully put into operation
On November 8, China Baoding Zhengsen Paper started up its tissue machine. The machine is supplied by China Weituo, with a width of 3,550mm, a speed of 1,200m/min and a capacity of 23,000tpy.

China Vinda International achieved business revenue of HK$13.19 billion in the first three quarters
On October 22, China Vinda International announced its unaudited financial data for the first three quarters. Its total revenue increased by 15.1% to HK$13.19 billion. Among them, the business of tissue paper achieved HK$10.852 billion and the business of personal care achieved HK$2.338 billion. The gross profit increased by 11.0% to HK$4,831 million.
China C&S achieved business revenue of 6.275 billion yuan in the first three quarters of 2021
In the first three quarters of 2021, China C&S achieved business revenue of about 6.275 billion yuan, an increase of 12.95% over the same period last year. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 484 million yuan, a decrease of 27.88% over the same period last year.
The business revenue in the third quarter is about 2.027 billion yuan, an increase of 4.54% over the same period last year. The net profit was about 77.2636 million yuan, representing a year-on-year decrease of 64.72%. The decrease in profit is caused by the increased operating costs due to the increased operating income, higher material prices, changing category structure and higher freight, as well as the decreased investment income and non-operating income in the third quarter.

China Haoyue Personal Care achieved business revenue of 1.664 billion yuan in the first three quarters
On October 23, China Haoyue Personal Care published its financial report for the first three quarters. The business revenue reached 1.664 billion yuan, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 228 million yuan, down from the same period last year.
China COCO achieved business revenue of 867 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2021
In the first three quarters of 2021, China COCO achieved business revenue of 867 million yuan, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 69.4488 million yuan. The business revenue in the third quarter was about 236 million yuan, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 2.0864 million yuan.
China Yiyi achieved business revenue of 944 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2021
China Tianjin Yiyi Hygiene Products Co., Ltd. achieved business revenue of 944 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2021, an increase of 2.20% over the same period last year. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 103 million yuan, a decrease of 38.57% over the same period last year.

China Winner Medical Company achieved business revenue of 5.8 billion yuan in the first three quarters
On October 26, the parent company of Purcotton, China Winner Medical Company, announced its financial report for the first three quarters. The business revenue reached 5.82 billion yuan, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1.104 billion yuan, a decrease of 64.95% over the previous year.
China Yanjan New Material achieved business revenue of 877 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2021
In the first three quarters of 2021, China Xiamen Yanjan New Material Co., Ltd. achieved business revenue of 877 million yuan, a decrease of 30.87% over the same period last year. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was about 7.563 million yuan, a decrease of 97.60% over the same period last year. It is mainly caused by significantly decreased melt-blown nonwovens sales and decreased non-operating income in the first three quarters of this year.

According to the statistics of China Customs, in the first three quarters of 2021, the import volume and the import value of tissue paper in China increased, but the total amount is still small. The import volume is about 32,300t, and the parent tissue roll accounts for 84.2%. Both the export volume and the export value of tissue paper decreased by double digits. The export volume was about 472,500t, a decrease of 30.12% compared with the same period last year.
The import volume of absorbent hygiene products in the first three quarters was 76,000t, a decrease of 32.54% compared with the same period last year. And the export volume was 736,200t, an increase of 8.48% compared with the same period last year. The total export volume of hygiene products is much higher than the import volume, demonstrating that the domestic market capacity and product types have been able to meet consumers’ demand.
The import volume of wet wipes in the first three quarters decreased by 49.03% compared with the same period last year, and the total import volume was only 3,676.882t. The export volume decreased by 28.03% compared with the same period last year.

Recently, China Hengan Group and China Kerry Logistics Network Limited established a joint venture, to create synergies for mass distribution and wholesale market of B2B medical treatment, health care and hygiene products.
China Zhejiang Sunkiss and Donghua University jointly established the Innovation Research and Development Center for Personal Care Products
On October 28, the signing and unveiling ceremony of Innovation Research and Development Center for Personal Care Products of China Donghua University and Zhejiang Sunkiss was successfully held, marking the beginning of Sunkiss to accelerate its scientific research and innovation.

Recently, at the 4th China International Import Expo, China Xiamen C&D Inc., Xiamen C&D Paper & Pulp Co., Ltd. and APP (China) had in-depth exchanges. Regulations on the Administration of Self-inspection of Medical Device Registration was officially released
In order to strengthen the management of medical device registration, standardize the self-inspection of registered applicants and ensure the orderly review of medical device registration, on October 22, China National Medical Products Administration issued the Regulations on the Administration of Self-inspection of Medical Device Registration, and it came into effect on the date of promulgation.
