China Nanning Jiada Paper Co., Ltd. successfully put TM5 into production
On May 2N4, China Jiada Paper successfully launched TM5 after installation and commission for its new high-end tissue capacity expansion and technical reform project with the annual capacity of 30000 tons. This makes Jiada Paper’s annual capacity reaching 80,000 tons. This crescent tissue machine was provided by China Baotuo, with a trimmed width of 2,850mm and a design speed of 1,600m/min.
China Baoding Xinyu Paper started up a tissue machine by Shaanxi Bingzhi
On May 23, China Baoding Xinyu Paper started up a TM with ultra-low energy consumption provided by Shaanxi Bingzhi Machinery Co., Ltd., and the energy-consumption index basically reached the design value on the same day. The tissue machine has a width of 3,500mm and a design speed of 1,200m/min.

China Anhui Hongtai Paper started up a 3550 crescent TM successfully provided by Baoding Weituo
On May 23, China Anhui Hongtai Paper successfully started up a TM provided by Baoding Weituo. The tissue machine has a width of 3,550mm, a design speed of 1,200m/min and an annual capacity of 24,000 t, and is equipped with the
internationally advanced energy-saving breathing hood, multi-stage turbulent headbox and high-performance frequency converter, which are independently developed and manufactured by Weituo.
APP successfully started up TM8 at China Nantong Rudong tissue paper manufacturing base
On May 26, APP’s Gold Hongye Paper (Nantong, China) Co., Ltd. successfully put TM8 into production. This production line, provided by Valmet (PMP), has a trimmed width of 3,600mm, a design speed of 1,600m/min, and a design capacity of more than 30,000 tpy.

China Hebei Botare Tiantian Paper opened for business
Recently, China Hebei Botare Tiantian Paper, Botare’s fourth paper base, was officially opened for business. With 5 tissue production lines in total, the base will have a capacity of about 60,000 tpy after being put into production.
China BABO Healthy Bamboo Industrial Park was put into production, and Valmet-provided cooking system was successfully operated
On May 26, the launching ceremony for BABO Healthy Bamboo Industrial Park of Sichuan Vanov New Material Co., Ltd. was held in Meishan. Valmet supplied key equipment and systems for the pulp line, including capping valves and top relief valves for the cooking system, as well as a boiler diagnostic system and five Alkali sensors, of which the capping valves and top relief valves have been successfully put into operation.

On June 6, the Energy Bureau of Guangdong Province, after examination, expressed its agreement in principle to the energy saving report provided by Asia Symbol (Guangdong) Paper Co., Ltd. for its 100,000-tpy tissue paper project. The construction of the project includes 3 tissue production lines and converting lines.
Valmet to supply two tissue machines to Liaoning Yusen Sanitary Products Co., Ltd.
Valmet will supply two additional IntelliTissue 1600 tissue machines to Liaoning Yusen Sanitary Products Co., Ltd., which are expected to be operational by mid-2023. Once launched, Yusen’s tissue production capacity will increase by 60,000 tons per year.

Energy-saving report of C&S (Dazhou, China) for 300,000-ton bamboo-pulp-paper integration project approved
Recently, C&S’s (Dazhou, China) energy-saving report for the 300,000-ton bamboo-pulp-paper integration project has been approved by Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, which mainly includes one bamboo pulp production line and three tissue paper production lines, with an annual capacity of 318,000 tons of bamboo pulp and 300,000 tons of tissue paper.
China Chongzuo Lee & Man proposes to build a 1.1 million-tpy pulp and paper project
On June 20, the environmental impact of China Chongzuo Lee & Man Pulp Products Co., Ltd.’s 1.1 million-tpy pulp and paper project was publicized. The project has an annual capacity of 300,000 tons of bleached chemical pulp and 400,000 tons of tissue parent roll, and is equipped with 400,000 tons of tissue post-processing capacity.
China Winsun added another Zuiko production line at its Zhejiang production base
Recently, China Winsun has introduced another Zuiko full servo pull-ups line at its Zhejiang production base, which has a speed of 500 pieces/min, is provide with an advanced automatic control system and multiple sets of image detection system, and is capable of manufacturing three sizes of pull-ups.

This is the second line introduced by Winsun since March 2022 after the phase II Zhejiang production base was put into operation. In the future, additional seven production lines are expected to be added at this base.
The second phase of China Capable factory was completed
Recently, the second phase of the 10 billion baby-child products industrial park, which was built by China Guizhou Kabu with the investment of nearly 2 billion yuan, was officially completed, and the new production lines were also officially put into use. The second phase of the project includes six functional zones: production zone, marketing headquarters, raw material production zone, research and development center, AR experience center and enterprise culture construction center.

China Xinjiang Zhongtai Henghui successfully started up its first high-performance spunlaced nonwovens line
Recently, China Xinjiang Zhongtai Henghui Medical and Health Material Co., Ltd. started up the first spunlaced nonwovens line for its bio-based green degradable material intelligent manufacturing project, which is located in Xinjiang Korla Economic and Technological Development Zone and will be built in two phases. 12 spunlaced nonwovens lines will be built in the first phase of the project, forming an annual capacity of 140,000 tons of spunlaced nonwovens. Seven production lines are scheduled for commissioning this year.

China Satellite Chemical officially signed a 200,000 tpy refined acrylic acid project
On May 28, Satellite Chemical signed the investment agreement for 200,000t refined acrylic acid project with the director of management Committee of Dushan Port Economic Development Zone in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province. Satellite Chemical invested about 1.1 billion yuan in the project, which is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2024.
Henan Zhoukou Xuwang successfully started up two cross-lapping spunlaced nonwovens production lines provided by Andritz
Zhoukou Xuwang Nonwoven Fabric Co., Ltd. started up two neXline spunlaced nonwovens production lines provided by Andritz. The two production lines integrate Andritz’s Wuxi local equipment and France imported equipment, specializing in the production of spunlaced nonwovens made from viscose and polyester fibers, with a grammage of 30 to 120g/m².

Sateri Nonwovens (Liyang) plant officially put into operation
Recently, Sateri Nonwovens (Liyang) plant was officially started up. This plant has an annual capacity of 49,000t of spunlace nonwovens and its first high-speed parallel laying spunlace nonwovens line was officially put into production. This is Sateri’s third nonwovens plant after the ones in Jiujiang and Xinhui in China. With the investment of 2.05 billion yuan and planned construction area of 345mu, the plant will be built in three phases.

On May 27, China Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Company Limited announced to prepare for the construction of photovoltaic power generation, and planned to add 47,300 m² of roof with an annual photovoltaic power generation capacity of 5.95 million kWh, so as to further improve the company’s clean energy ratio, accelerate the process of carbon emission reduction, help to reduce the cost of electricity for production and enhance capacity for sustainability.

China JWC Group to build a Health Care Industrial Park
On June 2, Deputy Secretary General of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce visited Jiangsu JWC Group. They visited the newly built Times Health Care Industrial Park of JWC Group, which covers an area of 263 mu and will be built into a multibillion-scale health industrial park. The group aims to make fine medical consumables, baby care products, female care products, adult care products, pet care products and high-tech materials industries to realize the transformation and upgrading from intelligent manufacturing to digital manufacturing.
Bagasse pulp production in Guangxi decreased in 2021
In 2021, Guangxi’s bagasse pulp production was 550,000t, down 8.3% from 2020. Guangxi’s bagasse pulp production is mainly restricted by the sugar cane raw material. In 2021, the actual bagasse used for paper making was only about 2 million tons, resulting in a shortage of bagasse raw material in the pulp market. Coupled with the growing pulp market, there was a rush for raw materials and a price hike, raising the production costs of downstream enterprises. In 2021, Guangxi’s bagasse pulp board production reached 160,000t, an increase of 14.3% over 2020, mainly sold to Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other places.

Xiantao City, Hubei Province, promotes high-quality transformation and development of nonwovens industry
Currently, there are more than 4,500 nonwoven enterprises in Xiantao City, Hubei Province, China, including 172 enterprises above medium scale, with an annual output of more than 900,000t of nonwovens, a daily production capacity of 113 million pieces of face masks, and a daily production capacity of 2.6 million pieces of protective clothing. At present, the overall qualification rate of nonwoven products in the city has increased from 62% to 87%. At the same time, market supervision departments in Xiantao City, Hubei Province, continue to carry out special rectification on nonwoven protective products and “market purification” actions to effectively regulate and maintain the market order.

Quanzhou Hanwei Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. launched self-developed full-servo production equipment for adult incontinent pants
The Full-servo Adult Incontinence Pants Production Machine was independently developed by Hanwei Manufacturing, applying means of modern industrial informatization, such as sensing, vision system, and image, and integrating professional technologies such as NC servo system, shaftless transmission, and pattern recognition, with high precision and perfection. The advanced machine owned quality inspection system, operation parameter monitoring, fault alarm recording and system parameter setting functions, which is highly precise, efficient and intelligent. This machine has obtained the First Set Certification in Fujian Province.
