China Hubei Libang ordered four Baotuo tissue machines for its second phase tissue paper project
Recently, China Hubei Libang Paper started up its second phase tissue paper project, with a capacity of 100,000tpy. The enterprise ordered four Baotuo BC1500-3550 new crescent tissue machines, with a design speed of 1,500m/min, a width of 3,550mm and a capacity of 25,000tpy.
China Guangxi Sun Paper ordered two Baotuo tissue machines
Recently, China Guangxi Sun Paper ordered two Baotuo BC1800-2850 new crescent tissue machines, with a design speed of 1,800m/min and a width of 2,850mm. The high-speed machines are energy-saving and environmentally friendly.
Jiangxi Taison have started all the eight new crescent tissue machines, supplied by Shanghai Qingliang, for its second phase project
On January 17, Jiangxi Taison started up TM45 and TM46, supplied by Shanghai Qingliang, for its second phase project. The two new crescent tissue machines have a width of 2,850mm, a design speed of 1,300m/min and a capacity of 20,000tpy.
Jiangxi Taison invested 4 billion yuan in the second phase project and started up the project at the end of March 2020. It has signed eight Shanghai Qingliang tissue machines at one time, all of which have been put into operation.
China Shandong Xinhe: a good start in the first month of 2022
In January 2022, the project of a high-speed and energy-saving new crescent tissue machine with a capacity of 15,000tpy, signed by Shandong Xinhe and Qatar EPI, came into effect.

On January 20, China Jingxing Paper held the trial production ceremony of TM5. The machine is supplied by Valmet, with a width of 5.65m and a design speed of 2,000m/min.

Leiyang Cailun Paper of China Shaoneng Group started up its TM8
On December 31, 2021, Leiyang Cailun Paper of Shaoneng Group started up TM8 for its first phase project. The double-cylinder hand towel machine, supplied by China Baotuo, has a width of 2,850mm and a speed of 1,200m/min. It produces hand towels and kitchen towels.

China Hengan Group won the “2021 Philanthropy Driving Force Award”
From January 13 to 14, the 11th Philanthropy Festival and Corporate Social Responsibility Carnival were held in Shanghai. China Hengan Group won the “2021 Philanthropy Driving Force Award” and President Hui Ching Lau won the “2021 Responsible Business Leader”.
Before and after New Year’s Day in 2022, Hengan donated materials to Xi’an twice to ensure pandemic prevention supplies. In addition, on January 7, Hengan Group—Anerle “Rainbow Drifting Bottle” Care for Women’s Health Action was held in Xinhua, Hunan Province.

China Vanov was successfully listed in HKEX, China
On January 11, China Vanov was officially listed on the main board of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. It is not only the first new stock listed in Chinese paper industry in 2022, but also the first new stock listed in HKEX in the new year.
Dr. Cao Zhenlei, Director of CNHPIA, expressed warm congratulations in a video.
Vanov is specialized in the design, manufacturing and sales of papermaking felt and optimization services of tissue machines. The company is top manufacturer of high-end industrial filter materials and supplier of tissue machine efficiency services in China, and its market share ranked fourth in the world. China Tianjin TEDA developed polylactic acid filter material for masks
The PLA degradable melt-blown filter material developed by China Tianjin TEDA Filters Co., Ltd. has passed the biodegradation test, and the test results of the core indicators, including BFE bacterial filtration efficiency and biodegradability, met the expected requirements. The mask using the material has excellent biodegradability.

In 2021, the newly added capacity in Chinese tissue paper industry hit a record high—the market competition will become more intense, and enterprises should invest cautiously
In 2021, China’s tissue paper capacity continued to grow at a high speed. According to the statistics of CNHPIA, from January to December 2021, Chinese tissue paper industry has an accumulated capacity of about 2.686 million tpy, in addition to some projects that have been put into operation but have not been publicly available. Therefore, the cumulative newly added capacity in 2021 has hit a record high since statistics were available in the industry.
In addition, in 2022 and beyond, the newly announced capacity has exceeded 10 million tpy. In the future, the industry is expected to see more intense overcapacity and more fierce market competition, so enterprises should invest cautiously.

On January 18, the expert group of China National Light Industry Council has evaluated and passed the declaration of Xiaonan, Hubei Province, China as “Chinese Tissue Paper and Hygiene Products Industry Capital”, which marked that Xiaonan started moving towards “China Paper Capital” from “Central China Paper Capital” and opened a new journey of high-quality development.

APP (China) was invited to attend the RCEP & CIIE 2022 New Year Exchange Meeting
On January 19, the “RCEP & CIIE 2022 New Year Exchange Meeting” sponsored by China International Import Expo Bureau was held in Shanghai, and APP (China) Group was invited to attend.
The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) was formulated by 15 members including China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and other 10 ASEAN countries.
By the end of 2021, there were more than 60 tissue paper and hygiene products enterprises in Xiaonan District, including 22 large-scale enterprises. The total production value reached 15 billion yuan, accounting for about 49.6% of the total industrial production value of the whole district and forming a whole industrial chain cluster.

The natural population growth rate was 0.34‰. In terms of gender composition, the male population is 723.11 million and the female population is 689.49 million.

On December 29, 2021, the group standard, T/CPA 001-2021 Water-coated Paper Cup (including Water-coated Paper Cup Paper), formulated by the China Standardization Technical Committee of Papermaking Industry, was officially released. This group standard is the first water-coated paper product standard in China, which fills the gap in the industry.
