The Consecutive MBA Program In Hospitality and Tourism is the first postgraduate program jointly developed with a foreign university since Gingko.C’s establishment. This partnership offers a model for the creation of other jointly conducted programs in the future, and highlights Gingko.C’s commitment to international cooperation in training the talents of the upcoming generation. Online interviews, online admissions processes, and online classes have been able to facilitate the cultivation of talent and internationalization of academic disciplines at the school in exemplary ways, providing students with a platform from which to conduct and engage in high-quality learning and research. In the case of the Consecutive MBA Program in Hospitality and Tourism, this platform will also promote exchanges in advanced scientific research in the field of hotel and tourism, laying a foundation for the future cultivation of international talent in applied hotel and tourism management research within the Sichuan-ASEAN free trade area.
Foundational core courses in the program commenced on September 17 of this year. Among them, Research Methodology and Academic English will be taught by Chinese teaching teams from Gingko College. After the students arrive in Thailand, Chinese instructors will support students throughout the duration of the program with additional individual research guidance.
All of the six interviewees who participated in the first round of interview received acceptance letters from PSU's graduate program in early August.
On September 4, the second round of interview was held, after which a total of nine students were admitted to the joint program with PSU.
