这是新学期的伊始，也是世华与你见面的第三个年头。惧怀逸兴，相期云汉，长风破浪，直挂云帆，新学期的旅程就此启航。

This is the start of new semester. “ A time will come to ride the wind and cleave the waves, we will set our cloud-white sail and cross the sea which raves”, the journey of the new semester begins.

FP新同学们在第一天跟着Jean-Luc校长和Tim副校长进行了校园导览。相信华华子们会很快将校园探索完全，解锁世华新地图。

学生处给新华华子们介绍了在校生活指南，帮助新华华子们更快适应校园生活。

心理咨询老师给新华华子们开展了新生适应小课堂，让大家能更快的融入新环境。

新生学习生活指南

世华给FP新同学们安排了为期三天的学习生活指南，让华华子们能更快的了解和融入校园学习与生活。

School arranged a three-day orientation of study and student life for new FP students, to help them adapt to campus life.

新学期的宿舍生活也十分丰富多彩，每个LINC都安排了不同的破冰活动和华华子们的精彩表演。

在周末中不仅仅有周末寄宿导师给同学们开展了急救培训，还有各式各样的体育运动，让同学们在学习之余也不忘强身健体。

校园适应

对于新生而言，当住宿生活初步安顿好之后，可能都需要经历一段适应期才能融入新环境，某些未曾有过住宿经验的孩子们，可能会发现生活遇到很大的变化，如果能及时觉察自己的状态，或许就能在心态上多做些准备，无痛适应世华生活。

To support freshmen adapt themselves to their new environment, the psychological counselor shared some self-care methods with the FP students. Hopefully it would be helpful for those students who need a little help aclimatizing to their new environment.

似水流年，转眼我就来到了CWA，一所崭新的，绽放光芒的国际学校。

刚来到这里时，什么都十分陌生，遇到各型各色的人，了解缤纷多彩的理念，接受截然不同的宿舍生活……但是这些都不算什么特别的。最特别的，是这边如此自由的教育方式。在这里，老师与同学更像是朋友，互相学习，了解。这里接受一切美好，我们这里的每一个人都可以享受美好，带来美好，传递美好。

新生感言

After being at CWA for two weeks, I have fully adapted to the environment and atmosphere of this new school. In the first week of school, through course introduction, campus visits, and various ice-breaking activities, I selected my favorite courses and made friends with whom I liked. I really like the teacher-student atmosphere here, which is built on respect and equality. Teachers and classmates are very friendly, teachers encourage me to try things I am interested in, students are not stingy with their praise, and we give each other more confidence. In the second week of school, we gradually got busy and began to plan our own curriculum and time. To my surprise, the school also offered courses on learning methods, which enabled me to learn a lot of efficient learning ways. I'm really looking forward to my future life at CWA.

新生感言

我自觉是一个不自律且生活技能为零的人，但是当我进入到宿舍，逐渐开始了自主生活，手洗衣服，整理床铺，书桌，现在都已手到擒来，每天放学后，脑子里就已经规划好了接下来直到自习的所有事项；每天晚上7.-9.的晚自习，也让我形成了专注的习惯。

上课期间学校也贴心的给到了Office hour，让我们有任何疑问可以直接跟老师沟通，跟同学交流，培养我们的社交能力。记忆深刻的是英语老师第一节课说的一句话：“You win or you learn”，总是害怕出错的我像是被打开了认知，there is never a failure. 各科老师也都又自己独特的风格，课程的难度也完全不简单，需要做好预习，复习，整理，当然现在大家也都逐渐进入了学习的状态。

如果你让我想词汇形容开学这段时间，我想它是友善的，自由的，活跃的以及充满主动性的。

是同学与老师之间的友善，是学校给到学生一定自由支配的时间但又同时有限制的自律即自由，是新血液的注入，填色，让学校充满了欢声笑语，青春气息的活跃，是同学们踊跃报名，自主创立社团，和学姐学长交流的主动性。

Seven days ago, I came to CWA to start my high school life, till today I really enjoy my high school life .At the Opening Ceremony, I was listening very carefully. There is a senior called Tom Qi who invited our FP students to go to the gym to play basketball if we were interest. I like playing basketball very much so I went to the gym.

At that day , I meet a lot of DP senior. I think they are great and help me a lot. Like Wang juntao, Sam, Yizhou and others. They are friendly and helpful. Because my previous school was not a international school, so there are a lot things I don’t understand, but DP students are patient and interesting. My FP classmates also help me a lot ,my roommate is also helpful, he knows a lot about physics, we often chat till the deep night. We also talk about math, psychology, sometimes we already forgot about the time. And now we will establish an astronomy club with Ryan Evan and Mcqueen. So, I actually want to say I really enjoy life at CWA.
