During the training, Mrs. Xiong shared her valuable experience in the integration of brand and culture, and culture for business development from four aspects: the business concept of brand culture, the importance of brand culture to business, the building of brand culture system, and how to build a brand culture in the long term.
The training is focused, rich in content, distinctive, professional, practical, and targeted. We were not only exposed to abundant knowledge of the brand and corporate culture but also learned the successful cases of brand and culture construction of Fine Taste. We believe that the training has made positive exploration and accumulated valuable experience to further strengthen the brand and culture construction work of all enterprises of Huabao Group.
Entrusted by Mr. Xia, Mrs. Yuan made a concluding speech. First, Mrs. Yuan expressed her gratitude to Mrs. Xiong for her wonderful sharing of brand culture construction for Huabao colleagues. 在新加坡,袁总一行视察了亚太华宝,慰问了亚太华宝员工,听取了各个部门的工作汇报以及大家对于公司发展的建议,勉励大家加强文化融合,努力工作,把华宝味道,中国味道介绍到东南亚,介绍到世界,当好华宝扎根东南亚市场的第一批“开拓者”,发挥桥头堡的作用,讲好华宝故事。袁总一行在亚太华宝总经理董萍的陪同下对新加坡市场进行了走访调研,实地了解市场信息,并与当地行业专家进行交流。
随后,袁总一行前往印度尼西亚首都雅加达,印度尼西亚投资发展部门相关官员热情接待了袁总一行。袁总一行与印尼方座谈,介绍公司情况,了解印尼投资政策相关情况,并深入工业区实地考察,了解情况。在印尼期间,袁总一行还拜访了客户,与客户座谈交流,探讨深化合作。
在返回新加坡亚太华宝后,袁总第一时间召开了本次东南亚调研考察的总结会,总结几天来的考察、交流成果并部署下一步马来西亚考察、调研工作。

华宝股份2023年度科技项目立项工作是在公司“绿色、营养、健康”企业使命的引导下,紧紧围绕“香精香料升级”和“健康食品配料”这两个公司业务转型升级的主要方向开展的。科技项目立项工作以技术创新和产品创新为目标,不断提升公司核心能力和市场竞争力。
从2022年年底开始,华宝股份科技管理部组织科创中心及各下属企业的研发团队积极参与申报本年度各类科技项目,并提交项目任务书。经过多轮前置审查、讨论和修改,华宝股份科技管理部分别于2023年3月10日、3月21日和4月28日,组织开展了2023年度科技项目立项专家评审会议。

Starting from the end of 2022, the Science and Technology Management Department of Huabao Co., Ltd. has organized the Center of Science & Innovation and the R&D team from each subordinate company to actively participate in declaring various projects of the current year and submitting the project mission statement. After several rounds of preliminary review, discussion, and modification, the Science and Technology Management Department of Huabao Co., Ltd. organized the expert review meeting on 10th March, 21st March, and 28th April 2023 respectively.

本次有华宝股份科创中心、广州华芳、华宝孔雀、上海嘉萃等单位合计17个项目参与立项评审,项目内容包括植物提取等产品的研究和开发。在项目立项评审会上,各项目负责人依次就立项目的和必要性、具体实施方案、技术路径及创新点、项目组织及预算、项目预期产出等方面进行了详细汇报和答辩。随后与会评审专家对每个申报项目提出了综合评价意见和建议。
专家组一致认为,本次申报的科技项目在选题、创新点、研究内容、技术实施等方面能紧紧围绕“同心多元化”发展战略,坚持“绿色、营养、健康” 企业使命,以市场洞察和消费者需求为导向,充分体现出华宝股份技术研发人员在理论水平与技术创新等方面综合能力的显著提升。通过现场专家评审,最终12个项目通过立项评审。
在最后的立项评审总结上,华宝股份董事、总裁袁肖琴女士就公司科研工作做出指示:抓创新就是抓发展,谋创新就是谋未来。我们需要抓住科技创新这个“关键变量”,强化科研项目工作与公司业务的深度融合,提升企业核心竞争力,共同推动公司科技创新再上新台阶,为公司业务战略转型奠定坚实的基础。
This time, there are 17 projects from Huabao Co., Ltd.’s Center of Science & Innovation, Hua Fang Tobacco Flavors Ltd., Shanghai H&K Flavors & Fragrances Co., Ltd., Better World Naturals Co., Ltd., and other units to participate in the project evaluation, and they include the research and development of plant extracts and other products. At the project evaluation meeting, each project leader made a detailed report on a specific implementation plan, technical path and innovation, project organization and budget, project expected outputs, and so on. Subsequently, the evaluation experts put forward comprehensive evaluation opinions and suggestions on each declared project.
The expert group agreed that the declared science and technology projects in the selection of topics, innovation, research content, technical implementation, etc. were closely aligned to the "concentric diversification" development strategy, and adhere to the "green, nutritious, healthy" corporate mission. Guided by market insight and consumer demand, these projects fully reflected the significant improvement of the comprehensive ability of Huabao's R&D personnel at the theoretical level and technological innovation. Through the on-site expert evaluation, 12 projects passed the project evaluation.
In the final summary of the project evaluation, Mrs. Yuan Xiaoqin, director and president of Huabao, made instructions on the company's scientific research work: grasping innovation is grasping development, and seeking innovation is seeking the future. 五月,华宝集团香原料事业部旗下企业江西香海清洁生产审核报告通过了政府主管部门专家组的评审。本次评审会议由江西省新余市生态环境局、市环境监测站等政府主管部门组织专家开展,第三方咨询单位及江西香海清洁生产工作负责人出席。
清洁生产是指将综合预防的环境策略持续应用于生产过程和产品之中,以期减少对人类和环境的风险。它遵循“从源头削减污染,提高资源利用效率,减少生产、服务和产品使用过程中污染物的产生和排放”的原则,是企业绿色发展的前提和基础。

In May, the cleaner production audit report of Jiangxi Jiangxi Shamhai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiangxi Jiangxi Shamhai”), a subsidiary of Huabao Group's Aroma Raw Materials Segment, passed the review of the expert group in charge of the government. The review meeting was carried out by experts organized by the government authorities such as Jiangxi Xinyu Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau and Municipal Environmental Monitoring Station, and attended by the third-party consulting unit and the person in charge of Jiangxi Jiangxi Shamhai's clean production work.

随后,专家组深入现场,踏勘江西香海环保设施运行情况、中/高费方案实施进展等。经讨论,专家组一致认为江西香海建立的清洁生产运行机制持续有效,预防治理“水气声渣”污染能力提升显著,已达到清洁生产先进企业水平,同意通过评估。
这是江西香海自2022年启动清洁生产工作以来接受的首轮评审。自工作启动伊始,江西香海上下高度重视,紧紧围绕“节能、降耗、减污、增效”工作目标,通过组建清洁生产工作领导小组、制定清洁生产审核工作计划、开展清洁生产宣传教育活动、征集清洁生产方案一系列工作,保障了相关工作的有序推进,取得了良好的成效。

傅书记一行首先在袁总的陪同下参观了华宝股份展厅,了解公司整体发展情况,全球布局、发展历程、产业及产品情况。在公司产品展台前,傅书记饶有兴趣地询问相关产品研发、生产及应用情况。
在随后召开的座谈会上,袁总首先热烈欢迎傅书记一行专程来华宝股份调研考察,并介绍了华宝股份、上海奕方、江西奕方发展情况。袁总在致辞中说,华宝股份与江西十分有缘,从2011年在江西鹰潭设立第一家企业,到2022年收购已在江西吉安扎根近10年的上海奕方,华宝与江西的故事仍在续写,相信也会越来越精彩。

精益生产管理开展之初,江西香海结合实际情况,以制度建设为切入点,将精益生产管理的要求融入到日常经营管理当中。建立健全推进精益生产管理的激励约束机制,通过划分责任区域、明确责任人,将各工段划分为若干区划,各小组长为生产线、设备、质量、工艺控制责任人,公共区域指定清扫责任人等,将精益生产管理内容纳入到管理人员、班组长、一线员工的KIP指标和每月红旗班组考核范畴,不断细化考核指标,充分保证精益生产工作的有序开展。
一、强化组织领导,健全管理机制

1. Strengthen leadership to improve management mechanism
At the beginning of lean production management, Jiangxi Shamhai took system construction as an entry point, combined with the actual situation, and integrate the requirements of lean production management into daily operation and management. Besides, they established and continuously improved the incentive and constraint institutions through the division of responsibility area and personnel. For example, they divided each section into several districts, appointed each team leader as the person responsible for production line, equipment, quality, and process control, designated the person responsible for cleaning the public area, and incorporated the lean production management content into the KIP index of managers, team leaders, front-line employees, and the monthly red flag team assessment. By continuously refining the assessment indicators, Jiangxi Shamhai fully ensures the orderly development of lean production.
二、强化宣传教育,塑造精细文化
精益生产管理是公司企业文化的重要组成部分,是全员参与的过程。为培养职工精益管理意识,江西香海通过会议、专题讲座、悬挂宣传标语等形式,组织员工学习精益生产管理的具体内容,让“增利润、降成本、提质量”的思想根植于每一个员工心中,让“5S”意识内化于心,外化于行,持续改进、杜绝浪费,同时将精益生产与安全标准化有机结合,形成规范化管理的良好势头。

2. Strengthen publicity and education to create a lean atmosphere
Lean production management is an important part of the company's corporate culture, which requires full participation. To cultivate lean management awareness among employees, Jiangxi Shamhai organized their staff to learn the concept of lean production management through meetings and lectures, banners, and other forms of publicity. By doing so, the thinking of "increase profits, reduce costs, improve quality" was rooted in the minds of every employee. Not only do they bear in mind the awareness of "5S", but also it motivated them to devote themselves to small actions such as continuous improvement and elimination of waste. Meanwhile, Jiangxi Shamhai organically combined lean production with safety standardization to form a good momentum of standardized management.
三、强化责任分工,提高工作效率
江西香海成立精益生产管理领导小组,制定精益生产管理工作实施方案,进一步明确各部门、员工有关精益生产管理的工作职责和工作任务,通过《交接班制度》压紧压实精益生产责任,各时段生产班组人员交接班时,必须反复检查、确认上个班组的生产情况、产品质量、工艺情况后,详细记录并签名,大大提高员工的工作责任心与自觉性,真正意义实现精益生产职责分明、管理有序、落实有力。
3. Strengthen the division of responsibility to improve efficiency
Jiangxi Shamhai set up an implementation program for lean production management work and formed a leading group, further clarifying the work responsibilities and tasks of various departments and employees. Strengthen accountability through the "shift handover system”: When the production team personnel in each period hand over the shift, they must repeatedly check and confirm the production, product quality, and process of the previous team, and then make detailed records and signs. These measures greatly improve the sense of responsibility and consciousness of employees and truly realize lean production with clear responsibilities, orderly management, and effective implementation.
生产质量的管控以及产品品质是企业发展的“生命线”。江西香海加强落实5S、目视化等管理措施,保证生产环节规范、高效运行,要求全体员工始终将“零缺陷”作为工作标准,对每一道工序都做到精益求精,减少因返工带来的损失,一旦发现不良品,则及时停机,将不良品在本工序截下,并且在本工序内完成不良品处置并采取防止措施,坚决做到“不接收、不制造、不传递”不合格品。同时公司还从优化工艺流程、改进设备状态等方面下功夫,充分保证产品品质的“零缺陷”。

Once employees find defective products, they must stop in time, intercept the defective products, complete the disposal of defective products, and take preventive measures within this process. They should resolutely achieve the goal of "no acceptance, no manufacturing, no delivery" of non-conforming products. At the same time, the company also strived to optimize the process flow and improve the equipment status to fully ensure "zero defect" of product quality.
五、强化细节把控,巩固管理成效

By doing so, all the tools are in the right order, which not only prevents the loss of tools, but also saves the time of finding tools, and greatly improves work efficiency.
6. Strengthen the information construction to build an innovative working platform
Lean production management is a process of advancing with the times, continuous improvement, and promotion. Through the means of digitalization and informatization, Jiangxi Shamhai successfully integrated lean production with the ongoing ERP project, so that data and information of the management process could be presented more efficiently and accurately, which assists the company to analyze and evaluate the information, enabling the management level to make quick respond to the market and to make reasonable arrangements.

十多年前,从走下飞机,脚踏博茨瓦纳土地的那一刻,我就感觉到了南部非洲夏日早晚的凉爽和中午的炎热。博茨瓦纳给我的第一印象,十几年过去了,依然是如此地强烈,如果用一个词来概括,那就是“共存”。
1.各肤色人种的共存
第一件出乎我意料的事情就是,在博茨瓦纳会遇见很多中国同胞,还有白种人、印度人、韩国人、拉美人等。虽然数量上可能不多,但几率很高。他们做的工作也不尽相同,有开店做生意的,有开公司的,有做牧师的,也有在公司上班的,但都在博茨瓦纳落了脚。

Botswana Culture: An Extraordinary Journey to Africa

Botswana, a landlocked country situated in Southern Africa, may not be prominent on the map, but its culture is so rich and unique. As a member of F&G Botswana, based in Botswana for more than ten years, today, based on my knowledge of its culture and history, I would like to share some of my rough understanding and insights of Botswana's culture.
From the moment I got off the plane, I felt the coolness of the African summer morning and evening and the heat at noon, Botswana gave me the first impression, and until now I still feel the same cultural characteristics can be summed up in one word, that is, "coexistence".
1. Coexistence of people of all skin colours
The first surprising thing is that in Botswana, you will meet a lot of Chinese, Caucasians, Indians, Koreans, Latinos and so on. It may be small in number, but it is a high percentage. They do different jobs, from those who run shops and businesses, to those who run companies, to those who work as pastors, to those who work in companies, but all of them have resided in Botswana.
2. Coexistence of multiple tribes
Apart from that, Botswana itself is a multi-tribal country, with the largest tribe being the Setswana. And while each tribe has its own language and culture, they are required to learn Setswana at school from an early age. Despite the diversity, there are shared values and beliefs among the tribes. Such values are deeply embedded in the daily lives of Botswana, whether at the family, community or national level.
It is worth noting that Botswana's Setswana, only make up about half of the tribe's population. The other half of the Setswana population resides in South Africa, which borders Botswana. This distribution has allowed South Africa to greatly influence many elements of the local Botswana culture (including music, fashion, etc.).

3. Coexistence of human and nature
Botswana's natural environment is one of its specialities. It is home to the famous Okavango Delta, the Chabessa Basin and the Kalahari Desert. These places are not just scenic attractions, but also an important part of the local culture.
The relationship between Botswana people and nature is harmonious and respectful. In traditional Botswana society, it is believed that every piece of land has a soul and life. This respect for nature has influenced Botswana's ecotourism industry, making the country a model of sustainable tourism.
4. Coexistence of tradition and modernity
Botswana has a rich cultural heritage, from ancient cave paintings to contemporary music and dance. The locals perform their traditional dances during celebrations and festivals, and the pace and rhythm of these dances have their own unique significance.
However, Botswana does not stop at tradition. With globalisation, Western culture has also influenced the country, especially in the capital city of Gaborone. But unlike other countries, Botswana has managed to combine tradition and modernity to create a unique cultural identity.
Due to Botswana's underdeveloped industry, people have very limited access to modern technology and can be slow to catch on when it comes to modern office and manufacturing technology. This is evident in the staff at F&G Botswana, which requires a process of training.
Botswana, the country in the heart of Africa, is rich in cultural heritage and beautiful natural landscapes, and at the same time demonstrates the charm and depth of African culture.

中国各地饮食习惯有很大的差异。从吃的内容上看,由于各地的物产不尽相同,长期形成的饮食习惯便有所区别。南方人主食以米制品为主,北方人主食以面食为主,副食主要是肉、鸡蛋和各种蔬菜,但受气候影响,到了冬天,北方蔬菜的品种相对比较少。
从风味上看,中国各地形成了不同的菜系,比较著名的有八大菜系:广东菜、四川菜、山东菜、江苏菜、浙江菜、福建菜、湖南菜、安徽菜。北京菜在宫廷菜的基础上,吸收各地菜系的精华,也形成菜系。每个菜系都有自己的拿手名菜,如四川宫保鸡丁、山东糖醋黄河鲤鱼、湖南剁椒鱼头、浙江龙井虾仁、北京烤鸭等。
由于中国各地气候、物产和生活习惯的不同,人们的口味也会有差别。一般来说,江苏、浙江一带的人爱吃甜的,做菜总爱放点儿糖:北方人爱吃咸的,做菜时放盐较多:湖南人、四川人爱吃辣的,辣椒是常用的调味品;山西人爱吃醋,做菜离不开醋。所以,中国菜历来有“南甜、北咸、东辣、西酸的说法
Eating habits vary greatly from place to place in China. In terms of what people eat, as a result of the differences in the kinds of food grown in different parts of China, dietary habits are also varied from region to region. Rice tends to be the staple crop in the south of the country, whereas wheat (and hence products made from flour, such as noodles and dumplings) is consumed more in the north. Non-staple food is mainly meat, eggs and a variety of vegetables, but affected by the climate, there are relatively fewer varieties of vegetables in the north in winter.
In terms of flavor, China boasts many cuisines in different regions, the most famous of which are the following eight: Guangdong/Cantonese cuisine, Sichuan cuisine, Shandong cuisine, Jiangsu cuisine, Zhejiang cuisine, Fujian cuisine, Hunan cuisine and Anhui cuisine. Through absorbing the quintessence of other cuisines all over the country, Beijing cuisine has developed characteristics of its own on the basis of royal court cuisine. Each cuisine has its representative dishes, such as Kung Pao Chicken (Sichuan cuisine), Sweet and Sour Yellow River Carp (Shandong cuisine), Sauteed Fish Head with Diced Spicy Pepper (Hunan cuisine), Longjing Shelled Shrimps (Zhejiang cuisine), Beijing Roast Duck (Beijing cuisine), etc.
Due to the differences in climate, products and living habits in different parts of China, people's tastes are also different. Generally speaking, people from Jiangsu and Zhejiang have a sweet tooth and tend to put some sugar in dishes; northerners favor salty flavors and put more salt in their dishes; people from Hunan and Sichuan prefer spicy food and they often use chilli peppers in their cooking; Shanxi is famed for its vinegar and people from this region can't do without vinegar in their dishes. Therefore. there is an old saying in China, “Sweet south, salty north, peppery east and sour west.

Indonesia is a country with a long history and cultural tradition. Between the 13th and 16th centuries, parts of the Indonesian islands were the centre of ancient kingdoms, such as the Malay and Javanese kingdoms. These kingdoms had a profound impact on Indonesia's history, culture and language. In addition, Indonesia is home to world-famous monuments such as the Borobudur Stupa and the city of Budobo.
