清香社会实践项目

THISDL ELP是一种综合的社会实践项目。无论是志愿活动,校外研学或是社会活动,ELP综合实践项目致力于融合学生的兴趣、学校的培养目标和社会实践于一体的项目,学生们通过参与,发掘自己的潜力,培养和发展学生的领袖才能、创新能力和合作精神。THISDL ELP项目的开展旨在培养积极面向世界和未来,具备社会责任感、全球化视野和中国情怀、创新力、领导力、解决问题和跨文化沟通的能力,身心健康、全面发展的国际化卓越人才。

THIS DL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING 

THISDL ELP is an integrated Experimental Learning program . Whether it is voluntary activities, off-campus research or social activities, the ELP  program is committed to integrates students' interests, school goals and social practice. The THISDL ELP aims to cultivate outstanding international talents who are actively facing the world and the future, have a sense of social responsibility, a global vision and Chinese feelings, innovation, leadership, problem-solving and cross-cultural communication skills, physical and mental health, and all-round development. .

Core competencies

Students are the artists, scientists, thinkers, innovators and leaders of the future. They will be tasked with solving the problems of today, while imagining and creating a new tomorrow. Competencies are critical for equipping students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes that they will need to successfully navigate their personal journeys in learning, living and working.

学生是未来的艺术家、科学家、思想家、创新者和领导者。他们的任务是解决今天的问题,同时想象和创造一个新的明天。能力对于让学生掌握成功驾驭个人学习、生活和工作之旅所需的知识、技能和态度至关重要。

清香人才培养目标

Talent Objectives

THISDL students will have both local feelings and international vision, and identify with their own identity; have noble character and healthy physique; lofty ideals and outstanding talents; dare to innovate, act better than say, be good at service and have the spirit of cooperation.

ELP时长认定

凡参加校内活动的同学,学校活动组织部门会发放统一的时长认定卡片,该卡片由活动负责老师签字发放,学生自行将时长和证明上传至Cialfo平台。
凡参加校外的志愿活动、研学和社会实践活动,学生需在活动结束后,将第三方单位证明、研学课程结课证明及参与活动照片等上传至Cialfo平台。

G9-G12的学生,需要学生高中在校期间积累ELP时长总和为550小时,平均每学年138小时左右。G8及以下年级的学生不做强制要求。
550小时为社区服务(Community service)、校外研学(Filed work)、职业发展(Career development) 的时长总和。在时长认定上,我们要求CS+FW+CD> 550且CS > 0,FW> 0,CD> 0。独立研究和校外活动可以自由安排。

For students who participate in on-campus activities, the school activity organization department will issue a unified duration identification card, which will be signed and issued by the teacher in charge of the activity, and students will upload the duration and certification to the Cialfo platform.
When participating in community service, field work,independent research, community organizations and career development, students need to upload the certificate of the third-party unit, the certificate of completion of the research course and the photos of participating activities to the Cialfo platform after the activity.

ELP Hours Recognition

G9-G12 students need to accumulate a total of 550 hours of ELP during their high school days, with an average of about 138 hours per school year. Students in grades G8 and below are not required to do so.
550 hours is the total time of community service, field trip and career development. In the determination of duration, we require CS+FW+CD> 550 and CS > 0, FW > 0, CD > 0. Independent research and community organizations can be arranged freely.

*如果学生未完成550时长的ELP活动,将无法取得毕业证书。如果是不确定某项活动是否符合ELP范围,可以询问活动协调员Leila老师,我们可以给予你帮助。邮箱:Leilazhao@thisdl.cn

辅导:顾名思义,活动内容为辅导同年级或低年级的孩子做作业;帮助学习上有困难的同学补课;帮助学生学画、准备展出作品等,多以学校开设的免费课后作业辅导这一形式出现。(参与学校Peer to peer tutoring club)
图书馆:包括但不限于:整理书架;管理儿童区看书/用电脑的孩子;在工作中协助其他工作人员等。校内图书馆会定期举办活动,包括读书会、书籍义卖等。所谓协助工作人员,通常是帮忙布置并打扫活动场地。
心理节关爱活动;爱心长跑;美化校园;
 学校大型活动提供的志愿岗位,如活动组织、执行人员;
义卖/募款:最常见的类型之一是bake sale/snack sale。学生自己在家里做点小点心之类的然后卖给身边的人,所获利润可捐给公益机构。(如:烘培ASA,会组织义卖活动)

清香社会实践项目 分类

旨在培养学生服务社会的意识。通过参与志愿者活动,希望学生行胜于言、善于服务、团结合作,将乐于助人、乐于奉献的精神以一种崭新的姿态呈现给社会,将爱心的种子不断地传播下去。
社区服务可以分为长期坚持的志愿服务和按项目组织进行的义务活动。
Community service aims to cultivate students' awareness of serving the society. Volunteering is one of the best ways for students to push themselves out of their comfort zone and experience new things. Whether you’re helping to build a house, teaching younger students a new subject, or cleaning up your local community, service-oriented learning is one of the best ways for a teen to expand their horizons. 
Community service can be divided into long-term voluntary service and voluntary activities organized by project.

校内志愿活动(示例)

On-campus (example):
Peer to peer club: tutoring children of the same grade or lower grades to do homework; helping students who have difficulties in learning; helping students learn painting, preparing for exhibition works, etc.
Library: including but not limited to: arrange bookshelves; help children reading; The on-campus library will hold regular activities, including reading clubs, book sales, etc. 
Psychological festival care activities; love long-distance running; beautify the campus;
Volunteer positions provided by  school events
Charity sale/fundraising: bake sale/snack sale. (eg: Baking ASA, will organize charity sales activities)

校外社区活动(举例)

医院:康复中心医务工作;儿童医院陪伴候诊的小朋友读书、做游戏;
 疗养院:到疗养院打扫卫生、照顾老人、陪聊天、读报、玩牌等。
剧院、博物馆等参观场所:到剧院、博物馆、展览馆、体育场馆帮助收票、引座、发资料等;
垃圾清理/环境保护类:清扫街道垃圾,宣传某疾病的防治工作;公园捡垃圾;海滩清理;美化校园以及为失散的宠物提供保护等。
*以上为举例的志愿活动,学生们可以根据自己的兴趣与特长去选择参加。
志愿者活动/公益活动也可以是一次性1-8周左右时间、集中完成、以项目为活动形式的活动。
比如:政府组织的志愿服务项目/慈善机构组织的志愿服务/政府组织的志愿服务/暑期项目;或是暑期支教项目。

Hospital: Medical work in the rehabilitation center; Children's Hospital accompanies children waiting to see a doctor to read and play games;
Nursing home: cleaning, taking care of the elderly, chatting, reading newspapers, playing cards, etc.
Theaters, museums and other visiting places: go to theaters, museums, exhibition halls, sports venues to help collect tickets, guide seats, distribute materials, etc.;
Garbage cleaning/environmental protection: cleaning street garbage, promoting the prevention and treatment of a certain disease; picking up garbage in parks; cleaning beaches; beautifying campuses and providing protection for lost pets, etc.
*The above are examples of volunteer activities, students can choose to participate according to own interests.
Community Service activities can also be activities of about 1-8 weeks, and in the form of projects.
For example: Community Service projects organized by the government or by charities/summer teaching support programs.

1) 学生发展中心、学生会及学部,社团会定期组织大型活动、各类校园文化活动,体育活动等,将提供志愿者服务的岗位,请同学们持续关注学校的活动发布信息。
2) 志愿北京APP:
志愿北京是一款非常温暖且充满爱心的软件,也是一款便捷式志愿者服务管理平台,平台可以统计收集所有人员的信息,让你参与志愿者招募管理当中,还能了解服务状况。学生可以自行登陆,注册账号选取感兴趣的活动参与。

学生在课余时间有组织和有目的地参与一些活动,而这些活动需要满足学生了解社会、认识社会以及服务社会等多方面的要求,是学生日常活动的重要组成部分。比如艺术团体、体育组织及其他社会活动。

校外活动 

Students  participate in some activities and organizations in their spare time, and these activities need to meet the requirements of students to understand the society,  serve the society, and are an important part of students' daily activities. Such as art organizations, sports organizations and other social activities.

学生在课余或者假期,自发地参加一些社会上的活动,比如去当学生记者写文章给报社,去参加话剧、歌剧等演出,参加一些体育活动(比如帆船或者高尔夫比赛等),或者创作的艺术作品去参展等,旨在学生作为个体,去了解社会,以及主动积极地参与社会活动与实践。
Students participate in community organizations in their spare time or vacations, such as being a student reporter and writing articles for newspapers, participating in dramas, operas and other performances, participating in some sports activities (such as sailing or golf competitions, etc.), or creating art works. Community organizations aims at students as individuals, to understand the society, and to actively participate in community organizations.

校外研学活动

根据学生年龄的特点以及教学的需要,学校组织的学生通过集体旅行、集中食宿的方式走出校园。通过走向自然,走进社会。引导学生主动适应社会,促进书本知识和生活经验的深度融合。从而使学生们在实际应用中更广泛,拓宽视野,增强学习的兴趣。

Field Work

According to the characteristics of the age of the students and the needs of teaching, the students organized by the school go out of the campus by means of group travel and centralized board and lodging. By going to nature, going into society. Guide students to actively adapt to the society and promote the in-depth integration of book knowledge and life experience. So that students can be more widely used in practical applications, broaden their horizons, and enhance their interest in learning.

学生可自行在校外设计开展独立自主的感兴趣的领域,使其对未来的学术方向有更加清晰的认识。最终的认定,必须有成果展示。例如艺术创作,必须校外展览展出。

Independent Research

Students can design and develop their own areas of interest outside the school, so that they can have a clearer understanding of their future academic directions. The final determination must have results demonstrated. For example, artistic creation must be exhibited in off-campus exhibitions.

职业发展

帮助学生了解自己的特长与兴趣爱好,通过体验和探索未来职业的方向。比如职业探索、兼职工作、实习、创业等。

ELP活动记录方法

        学生在结束ELP活动后,需要将以下材料交由活动老师和升学老师审核:
  1. 体验心得记录(过程性文件),通过回顾与反思,不断的进步;
  2. 文件证明(签字/盖章)
  3. 对于G9以上的同学,将在Cialfo平台记录(学生自主完成);对于G8以下的同学,老师可在校宝记录。
  4. 学校每年会评选出十佳星级志愿者/项目及星级社团评选活动。

Career Development

Help students to understand their own strengths and interests, through experience and explore the direction of future careers. Such as career exploration, part-time jobs, internships, entrepreneurship, etc.

After completing the ELP, students need to submit the following materials to the activity teacher and further education teacher for review:
1. Experience review (process documents);
2. Documentary proof (signature/stamp)
3. For students above G9, it will be recorded on the Cialfo platform (students complete it by themselves); for students below G8, teachers can record on the power school.
4. The school will select the top ten star volunteers and star student club every year.
