The expansion of library collection and the processing of donated books
have been successfully completed.
When the work was officially launched, the department held a work mobilization meeting, and the library leaders attended and gave instructions and encouragement. In addition, the training of data processing and processing specifications was carried out, and the workflow of book donation processing was introduced in detail, and a series of related workflow, personnel arrangement, work records and statistical tables were formulated. \n After a month of hard work, the book processing work was finally successfully completed. Through this task, colleagues have strengthened the overall concept, close unity among comrades, tacit cooperation, mutual trust, and carry forward the spirit of hard work.
During the working period, Guo Jing, the deputy curator, set an example and accompanied everyone as the leader in charge, working overtime with everyone. Yao Yi, the newly appointed Secretary of the Party Committee of the library, also came to the department to express his concern and condolences to everyone, and to experience the work flow on the spot. He affirmed everyone's work style of overcoming difficulties, steadily and steadily, uniting as one and fearing hardships, and encouraged the Party members and the masses to continue to play a practical spirit, so as to provide a solid support foundation for the development of libraries and schools. 工作正式启动之际，部门召开了工作动员会，馆领导参加并给予指示和鼓励。此外还进行了数据处理与加工规范培训，向大家详细介绍了赠书加工工作流程，并制定了一系列相关工作流程、人员安排、工作记录与统计表册。
经过一个月的奋战，赠书加工工作终于得以顺利完成。通过此次任务攻坚，同事们都增强了大局观念，同志之间紧密团结，配合默契，彼此信任，发扬出不怕苦不怕累的实干精神。工作期间，郭晶副馆长以身作则，作为分管领导一直陪伴着大家，和大家一起加班加点的工作。刚到任的馆党委姚奕书记，也来到部门对大家表示关心和慰问，并实地体验工作流程，肯定了大家攻坚克难、稳扎稳打、团结一致、不畏艰辛的工作作风，鼓励党员群众们继续发挥实干力行的精神，为图书馆和学校的发展提供扎实的支撑基础，贡献我们的力量。

为进一步扩充纸质馆藏，加快赠书加工进度，资源建设部充分发挥党员先锋模范作用和业务骨干支撑带头作用，协同外包公司人员，从9月底前期准备、正式开工到10月底基本结束，历时一个月的时间，完成了2.6万余册的赠书加工入藏工作。

In order to further expand the paper collection and speed up the processing progress of donated books, the Ministry of Resources and Construction has given full play to the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members and the leading role of business backbone support, and cooperated with the personnel of outsourcing companies to complete the processing of more than 26000 donated books from the end of September to the end of October, which lasted one month. \n The Ministry of Resources and Construction, in collaboration with the Ministry of Information Technology, the General Office and the Reader Service Department, has completed the preparatory work quickly and effectively, providing a full and powerful guarantee for the timely development of book donation processing.

唐文治雕像
主馆门口的雕像是交大校史上一位举足轻重的校长-唐文治先生。他多方斡旋,建成一座图书馆新楼（现为交大徐汇校区老图书馆）,并渐次充实馆藏,培养管理图书馆专才，对交大图书馆的建设有重大意义。交大学子将他的雕像立在图书馆门前，是一种致敬，更是一种传承。

包玉刚图书馆门口饮水思源碑也是一个值得挖掘之处。晚上灯光亮起，微风拂起，水波泛起，心情舒畅，看着立碑，心中顿时充满了力量。下方的水池从中心喷水，向四方蔓延，再循环从中心涌出，寓意“思源校训”永驻交大人心中，绵延不坠。

2021年11月20日，喜逢李政道先生九十五华诞，李政道学术思想及中国科教育人实践研讨会暨2021上海交通大学李政道科学与艺术讲座基金系列活动在上海交大闵行校区李政道图书馆举行。活动由上海交通大学联合中国高等科学技术中心主办，上海科技馆、中华国际科学交流基金会等单位协办，以期对李政道先生推动科技进步、培养创新人才、促进科学普及等方面的重要贡献进行深入研讨和广泛宣传，促进科艺交叉育人，传承弘扬大师精神，助力祖国科教事业。活动采用线上、线下同步直播互动的方式进行。校党委书记杨振斌在开幕式上致辞。副校长张安胜主持开幕式。

2021年度拟资助项目公示啦！
“上海交通大学机构知识管理服务系统”（Institutional Repository of Shanghai Jiao Tong University，简称：SJTU IR）是一个集中采集、存储学校各类学术成果的管理服务系统。该系统采用知识图谱等技术，从学校、二级机构和学者3个层面提供产出、引用、期刊、学科、合作等多维度的可视化呈现。SJTU IR中的期刊论文和会议论文数据已通过接口与学校网络信息中心院系管理系统（SA）进行每月定期自动交互(目前交互数据时间范围是2020年至今)，同时，教师们对期刊论文和会议论文数据的认领、修正和补充也会由SA系统完成并反馈至本系统。
SJTU IR自动采集以上海交通大学为署名单位的各类公开正式发表（发布）的成果。目前数据类型包括：期刊论文、会议论文、硕博士学位论文和专利等。数据来源及回溯时间范围如上表所示。
图书馆倾情打造的“上海交通大学机构知识管理服务系统（试用版）”在后台运行服务多年后，面向校内用户上线啦! 汇聚10个主流数据库，采集59万+元数据,利用算法匹配到二级机构（70+）和学者个人（1万+），大部分可通过DOI链接至全文，部分金色OA可直接下载全文。真正实现了交大主要学术成果统一管理、一站式检索利用。
the “Institutional Repository of Shanghai Jiao Tong University”(trail version), which has run for years in background, now is accessible for all university users. Embracing ten mainstream databases, the system collects more than 590,000 metadata matching to more than 70 secondary institutions and 10,000 scholars through advanced algorithm. Most articles are fully-textual accessible via DOI and some articles with golden OA can be downloaded in full-text version directly. The system realizes a real sense of unified management and one-stop retrieval and utilization of the main academic achievements of SJTU.

多维度展示全校的成果数据，可从年份、语种、成果类型、核心收录、来源数据库、来源出版物、作者类型、机构署名类型、作者、机构、合作机构、合作国家/地区进行多维浏览和统计，也可进行全文下载和题录导出。
做分析
从学校、二级机构和学者3个层面，对成果产出、引用、学科、合作等12个维度进行统计分析；还可自动生成学校、二级机构、学者、国际合作和年度考核5种类型的预定制报告。

资源评估与发展研讨会
11月1日上午，在图书馆党委书记姚奕和副馆长郭晶指导下，资源建设部、学科服务部、特藏服务部、情报研究部和读者服务部5部门联合召开2021-2022年图书馆资源评估与发展研讨会。郭晶副馆长首先做《我校图书馆文献信息资源建设的新要求》报告，涉及编制预算、内控管理、审计巡视、采购工作（招采）、预算管理、“十四五”等六个方面；资源建设部主任宋海艳介绍图书馆“十四五”期间实体文献资源建设重点与目标；资源建设部副主任申雅琪报告图书馆2021-2022年文献资源建设进展及已经梳理汇总的数据库建设需求，各部门针对相关内容展开交流和讨论。随后，在会人员对ACS电子图书数据库、《毛泽东读书集成》《稀见清代尺牍第一辑》3个拟引进文献资源项目进行评估和投票表决。
On the morning of November 1, under the guidance of Yao Yi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Library, and Guo Jing, Deputy Director of the Library, the Ministry of Resources Construction, the Subject Service Department, the Special Collection Service Department, the Information Research Department and the Reader Service Department jointly held a seminar on the evaluation and development of library resources in 2021-2022. Subsequently, the participants evaluated and voted on three projects to be introduced into the ACS e-book database, Mao Zedong Reading Integration and the First Volume of Rare Qing Dynasty Letters.
Finally, Secretary Yao Yi made a summary of the meeting, pointing out that it is a good working mode for the relevant departments in the library to discuss and promote the construction of literature resources, hoping that all departments can improve the quality of the construction of literature resources in the library through practical discussions; Guo Jing, deputy curator, said that the construction of literature resources has been supported and coordinated by various departments for a long time, and hoped that you would continue to use the conference to discuss the relevant resources in depth and form opinions and feedback.

最后，姚奕书记做会议总结，提出针对文献资源建设，馆内相关部门协同讨论和推进是好的工作模式，希望各部门通过切实讨论，提高图书馆文献资源建设质量；郭晶副馆长表示，文献资源建设长期以来得到各部门的支持和协同，也希望大家继续借助会议，对涉及的相关资源深入讨论，形成意见和反馈。
11月26日，图书馆第九期信息专员（2022-2023年度）培训计划在图书信息大楼八楼正式拉开帷幕。来自我校各院、系、所的信息专员代表、特邀主讲人机械与动力工程学院马涛老师、马克思主义学院沈辛成老师，图书馆馆长李新碗、副馆长徐璟，以及学科服务部及情报研究部馆员出席了本次活动。
活动伊始，我们回顾了信息专员活动的发展历程，更有很多的优秀信息专员表达了自己的收获和对新一届信息专员的寄语。随后，学科服务部副主任耿哲对第八期信息专员培训进行总结，分享了培训内容、服务机制和取得的成效；对新一期培训计划进行了介绍，聚焦科研人员信息获取和分析、利用能力的全面提升，协助科研人员寻找研究和创新突破口、加快科研进程，提高科研水平和成果产出。
On November 26, the ninth session of the information specialist training Program (2022-2023) of the library officially kicked off on the eighth floor of the Library and Information Building. The University Librarian Xinwan Li, Associate Librarian Jing Xu, special lecturer Tao Ma of the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering, Xincheng Shen of the School of Marxism, the librarians of the Dept. of Subject Seirvices and Information Specialists attended this event.
机械与动力工程学院的马涛老师给大家带来了主题为《青年学者科研与写作经验分享》的讲座，他从自身出发，与大家分享了大学到博士到博士后期间经历，鼓励大家注重个人选择。马克思主义学院沈辛成老师带来了主题为《每个人都是自己的图书馆员》的分享。他从自己留学美国的经历讲述了对专业的热爱，而这种纯粹的感情使得他们不断地付出。鼓励信息专员需要找到自己的定位，努力成为交大成功灵魂背后的骨血，而不只是一个传声筒。
随后，由李新碗、徐璟、马涛、沈辛成共同为第八期优秀信息专员颁奖，感谢及肯定他们这两年的付出及对图书馆工作的支持。优秀信息专员代表冯冉去年参加了中国知网信息检索大赛决赛并获得一等奖，承担了信息素养课程的助教工作，她认为图书馆的宝贵资源和培训值得大家学习，希望可以和新加入的信息专员一起友好交流，促进学科交叉。李新碗为第九期信息专员颁发了中英文双语版聘书。
李新碗馆长代表图书馆寄语新一期的信息专员，图书馆会将优秀的资源推荐给信息专员。而信息专员的重要使命是将资源分享给团队，帮助他们快捷地解决科研中真正存在的问题，这样既有助于团队的提升，也提高了自己。希望我们的数据能够为信息专员提供科学的养料，而信息专员也能利用好图书馆提供机会和平台，并在这一过程结交互相进步的真朋友。
