THISDL ASA are designed and carried out based on the THISDL mission, vision and core values of school. Schools carry out a variety of ASA to provide students with a platform and opportunities to fully explore, participate, contact and understand diverse cultures, and cultivate students' independent thinking ability and team spirit. 
海淀区稻香湖学校/清华附中外籍人员子女学校的办学目标是为领袖人才 奠基,所谓领袖人才,就是可以创新、引领,为社会发展和人类进步做出 贡献。我校ASA课程的设置是基于我校的使命、愿景及核心价值观来设计 和开展的。本着跨学科、兴趣引导、专业培养的原则,学校开展丰富多彩 的课后活动,为学生提供平台和机会去充分探索、参与,接触和了解多元 的文化,培养学生的独立思考能力和团队合作精神。
ASA programs have a close relationship with regular academic courses, yet there are some significant distinctions:
1.ASA programs usually complement formal academic courses, aiming to reinforce students' knowledge and skills in specific domains. They provide additional learning opportunities, assisting students in achieving a deeper understanding of topics of interest.
2.Due to the flexibility of after-school programs, they can better cater to students' personalized learning needs. Students can choose to delve into areas they find interesting or require further enhancement.
3.ASA programs offer students the chance to pursue hobbies and develop talents, as they typically encompass a broader range of subjects, including sports, arts, crafts, and more.
课后课程与正课课程之间存在密切关系,但又有一些重要的区别:
补充性质: 课后课程通常是对正式课程的补充,旨在加强学生在特定领域的知识和技能。它们提供了更多的学习机会,帮助学生更深入地掌握感兴趣的主题。
个性化学习: 由于课后课程的灵活性,它们可以更好地满足学生的个性化学习需求。学生可以选择他们感兴趣或者需要加强的领域进行深入学习。

清香ASA教师申请: 为了提供学生更多的学习机会和综合发展,清香按照学年计划开设课后课程,旨在为学生提供丰富多彩的课外活动,拓展知识领域,培养学生的创新思维和实践能力。为此,我们向资深、有经验的教师来开展课程。
THISDL ASA Teacher Application: In order to provide students with more learning opportunities and holistic development, THISDL is offering after-school programs according to the academic year plan. The aim is to provide students with a diverse range of extracurricular activities, broaden their knowledge domains, and foster their innovative thinking and practical abilities. To achieve this, we are inviting senior and experienced teachers to conduct these courses.

每年的四月至六月,学校会向所有在校老师和第三方机构征集新学年开展的课后课程。提交申请后,经学校审核后,会有老师联系您沟通课程开展的事宜。
From April to June each year, the school will solicit after-school course proposals for the upcoming academic year from all current teachers on campus and third-party organizations. After submitting your application, following the school's review, a teacher will get in touch with you to discuss the details of course implementation.

课后课学生招募与报名流程
Student's application

2、线上报名平台:

设立线上报名平台,学生可以通过该平台报名缴费,一旦截止,审核报名信息,确认学生名额。online registration platform where students can enroll and make payments. Once the deadline is reached, review the registration information and confirm student slots.

3、学生名单汇总

汇总已缴费的学生名单,教师可通过校宝系统查看该课程学生名单。Get a list of students who have paid the fees. Teachers can access the list of students enrolled in the course through the school's online system.

学生考勤管理方法/Student Attendance Management Method

宣传与信息发布: 在学校内部、学校网站等渠道发布课后课程的宣传信息,包括课程内容、时间、地点、教师介绍等。Promote ASA information through website, class groupsetc. This information should include details about course content, timings, locations, and teacher introductions.

考勤记录: 每节课程开始时,教师进行考勤记录,记录学生出席情况。
考勤系统: 可以使用校宝记录学生考勤,数据自动记录,提高准确性和效率。
迟到和请假处理: 对于迟到或请假的学生,学生需要提前在校宝或者跟老师当面请假,任课老师需要跟班主任或者家长核实学生的请假理由。
异常情况处理: 处理特殊情况,如学生缺席但提前通知,可以记录为请假,未通知缺席则标记为缺勤。
家长通知: 对于频繁缺勤或表现不佳的学生,及时与班主任、家长进行沟通,共同找出解决方法。

Late Arrivals and Absence Requests: For students arriving late or requesting leave, they should either submit an absence request in advance through the school's online system or inform the teacher in person. Handling of Special Cases: Address exceptional cases, such as students who are absent but have provided prior notice. In such instances, the absence can be marked as excused. Unnotified absences should be marked as unexcused.
Parent Notifications: For students with frequent absences or poor performance, timely communication with the class teacher and parents is essential. Together, find solutions to address these issues.

After-school course evaluation is a crucial aspect to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the courses. Through evaluation, it's possible to gain insights into students' learning experiences, course outcomes, and directions for instructional enhancements. The following are methods for conducting after-school course evaluations:

设计问卷,询问学生对课程的满意度、课程内容的有用性、教学方法的效果等方面的看法。开放式问题可以让学生表达意见和建议。Design questionnaires to inquire about students' satisfaction with the course, the usefulness of the course content, the effectiveness of teaching methods, and other related aspects. Open-ended questions can allow students to express opinions and provide suggestions.

安全与纪律 Safety and Discipline

安全和纪律管理是课后课程的基本保障,确保学生在学习和活动中得到保护,同时维护良好的教学秩序,提供良好的学习环境。以下是安全和纪律管理的一些重点措施:
Safety and discipline management are fundamental safeguards for after-school courses, ensuring students' protection during learning and activities while maintaining a positive teaching environment and order. The following are some key measures for safety and discipline management:

对于ASA开展的活动,提前做好风险评估,设定安全操作规范,确保学生在活动中不受伤害。任课老师需接受学校的培训,了解如何应对紧急情况、急救方法等,确保学生的安全。
For ASA activities, conduct risk assessments in advance and establish safety protocols to ensure students' safety during the activities.  ASA teachers should receive training from the school, understanding how to handle emergencies, administer first aid, etc., in order to guarantee student safety.

在课程开始前,向学生明确课程的纪律要求,包括课堂秩序、互动行为等。学生在课后课堂需要遵守学生手册。Before the course begins, clearly communicate the discipline requirements to the students, including classroom order and interactive behavior. Students are required to adhere to the student handbook during after-school classes.

积极引导 Positive Guidance

通过积极的引导和正面激励,鼓励学生自觉遵守纪律,形成积极的学习氛围。针对违纪行为,告知班主任和学部,参考学生手册学生管理办法,根据情况采取适当的处理方式,可以是口头警告、书面通知家长,甚至暂时停课等。Through proactive guidance and positive reinforcement, encourage students to voluntarily follow discipline rules and cultivate a positive learning atmosphere. In response to disciplinary issues, inform the class teacher and school division. Refer to the student handbook's disciplinary guidelines and apply appropriate measures based on the situation, such as verbal warnings, written communication to parents, or even temporary suspension from the class.

对于频繁违纪或严重违纪的学生,及时与家长进行沟通,共同找出问题根源,并寻求解决方案。教师应帮助学生树立自律意识,理解纪律对学习和个人成长的重要性。For students who frequently violate rules or engage in severe disciplinary issues, promptly communicate with parents to jointly identify the underlying problems and seek solutions. Teachers should assist students in developing self-discipline awareness and understanding the significance of discipline for learning and personal growth.

关于课后课任课老师的工作职责温馨提示

1. 如果您开设的课后课程需要采购教学教具,请提交采购申请(按学年提交)。
2.课后课(ASA)教师应做好必要及充分的课前准备,确定学生名单及人数,每节课用校宝严格记录学生考勤,对于缺勤的同学,用校宝记录考勤同时抄送学生班主任,对于无故缺勤的学生,课后需要了解学生缺勤的原因,根据实际情况告知班主任和学生家长。
3.课后课(ASA)任课教师应严格遵守学校的教学管理规定,规范教学行为,语言规范。教师应当尊重学生,不轻易打断学生发言,不讽刺、挖苦、歧视学生,不得侵犯学生的合法权益,严禁在学生中传播有害学生身心健康的信息。任课教师需要在课前5分钟进入班级做好课前准备工作,要按时上下课,严格按照学校课表上课,不得擅自停课、调课,上课时不得无故离开教室,不做与教学无关的事。
4.如需调课,请假等突发情况,需要提前3天联系活动协调员,所有的教务工作安排调整均须通过学校部门主管的认可,其中请假、调课工作均须填写相应申请。
5. 做好学生校内的安全工作:
1)在教学过程中,不得有打骂、体罚或变相体罚的行为;
2)学生在上课中途生病或其他事假需要离校回家的,应及时通知学校教师。
3)课堂和课间不得让学生作剧烈危险的活动。
4)如有发生学生校内受伤的情况,应视伤情的轻重及时就医,并通知班主任、学生家人和学校领导,共同做好学生的医护工作。
5)每天课程结束后,任课教师(小学课程)需要负责学生的放学工作,具体工作为:把学生送去校车或者学校门口,确保学生家长接走学生。等待时间超过10分钟,可联系学校教师或学生班主任。
6)课后课(ASA)的课堂管理,同日常课堂管理一致,学生需要严格遵守校内的日常行为规范;如若学生发生打架、欺辱、霸凌等行为,必须立刻制止并且通知学生班主任一同处理。同时需要书面告知活动协调教师,具体处理办法参照中小学学生手册。给学生发红/橙/蓝卡。
6. 做好教室的整理工作:任课教师课后需要还原教室桌椅,及时清理课堂产生的垃圾,保持教室整洁。负责关灯、关电教设备、关空调、关门。
7. 任课教师完成课时授课任务后,要从教学效果、个人体会以及存在的问题等方面,定期进行课程总结。要定期给家长反馈学生在课后课期间的课堂表现,具体可使用校宝系统,在期中/期末时上传阶段内容反馈。
8.课后课ASA薪酬的统计与发放,每月15号前由学生发展中心课后课负责老师统一核算提交至HR,当月的课后课薪酬在下一个月发放。

1. If the after-school course you are offering requires the procurement of teaching aids, please submit a purchasing request (to be submitted annually).
2.ASA teachers should adequately prepare before class, confirm the student list and number, and strictly record student attendance using the school's online system. For absent students, record the attendance through the system and copy the class teacher. For unexcused absences, the reason should be investigated and reported to the class teacher and parents.
3.ASA teachers must strictly adhere to the school's teaching management regulations, maintain professional teaching behavior, and use appropriate language. Teachers should respect students, avoid interrupting their speech, refrain from sarcasm or discrimination, and not violate students' legitimate rights. Spreading harmful information that affects students' physical and mental health among students is strictly prohibited. Teachers should be present in the classroom and prepared five minutes before class starts. They should adhere to the scheduled class timings and not leave the classroom without valid reasons during class hours.
4.For unexpected situations such as class rescheduling or leave, contact the activity coordinator three days in advance. Any adjustments to academic work arrangements must be approved by the relevant department. Leave requests and class rescheduling must be submitted through the proper channels.
5.Ensure students' safety on campus:
  • No physical punishment or abuse is allowed during teaching.
  • If a student falls ill or needs to leave the campus during class, inform the school promptly.
  • Students should not engage in hazardous activities during class or breaks.
  • In case of a student getting injured on campus, provide medical assistance based on the severity of the injury and notify the class teacher, parents, and school authorities.
  • After classes, primary school teachers are responsible for student dismissal. This involves escorting students to school buses or the school gate and ensuring students are picked up by their parents. If parents do not arrive within 10 minutes, contact other teachers or the class teacher.
6.The classroom management for ASA classes should follow the same rules as regular classes. Students must adhere to the school's code of conduct. Any fights, bullying, or inappropriate behavior must be stopped immediately, reported to the class teacher, and communicated in writing to the activity coordinator. Further action should follow the procedures outlined in the elementary and secondary school student handbook.

7.After class, teachers are responsible for tidying up the classroom, clearing any generated trash, and ensuring the room is clean. Turn off lights, electronic devices, air conditioning, and close doors.
8.After completing teaching hours, teachers should regularly reflect on the course, considering teaching effectiveness, personal experiences, and existing issues. Regularly provide feedback to parents on student performance during ASA classes through the school's online system, particularly during mid-term and end-of-term periods.
9.The calculation and distribution of ASA remuneration: Before the 15th of each month, ASA teachers should provide the Student Development Center with a unified record of hours for payroll calculations, which HR will use to process remuneration for the next month.
