Year 10 十年级的暑假

During the summer vacation, students can prepare for IGCSE in advance and lay a foundation for Tenth grade knowledge in advance. In addition, for students at this time, 

暑假期间，同学们可以为IGCSE提前做好准备，提前为十年级的知识打好基础。除此之外，英语此时对学生而言，就不只是停留在学科上的学习，而是要当成一门语言来掌握。

Year 9 九年级的暑假

Year 10 students can participate in some competitive or directly related summer school projects. At the same time, if there are opportunities for scientific research or competitions, students can complete them through this summer vacation. Students who still need to improve their academic performance should fully make use of this summer time. Of course, students who are preparing to start their personal projects can also use this summer to start conceptualizing, designing, and preparing their own personal projects.

Year 11

十一年级的暑假

This is one of the most important summer holidays for Year 11 students. As students at this stage, whether in terms of age or psychology, should be able to reach a relatively mature stage, have a clear professional direction, and have the ability to participate in projects, activities, or courses at the same level as universities.

对于十一年级的学生来说，这也是很关键的一个暑期，因为处于这个阶段的学生，无论是从年龄上还是从心理上，应该是可以到了一个比较成熟的阶段，有明确的专业方向，且具备可以参加一些跟大学同等级的项目、活动或者是课程的能力。

这个时间希望同学们能够把它利用到最好，无论是从夏校、科研、竞赛，一定要围绕着自己将来的专业方向出发。

在这个暑假也是一个继续完成个人项目的时间，包括继续进行访校等。对于标化考试来说，如果之前没有达到标准，这个暑假也是一个最后的冲刺机会，当然就是还有需要开展一些大学申请方面的准备。

10年级暑假可以参加一些比较有竞争力的或者是跟专业直接相关的夏校项目，与此同时如果有一些科研或者是竞赛的机会，同学们都可以通过这个暑期完成。与此同时，还需要标化考试继续提升的同学们，可以再继续进行标化考试的冲刺。如果是还没有完成科目考试的也是可以通过这个时间来准备的。当然还有准备开始个人项目的同学们也可以利用这个暑假就开始构思设计和准备自己的个人项目。

What is EPQ? EPQ是什么？

EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is a research based learning project strongly recommended by the Department for Education and UCAS, and it is also an independent research project qualification certificate in A-level curriculum system. 

EPQ(Extended Project Qualification )是英国教育部和高等教育招生服务中心（UCAS）强烈推荐的研究型学习项目，也是A-level课程体系中的一门独立研究项目资质证明。

EPQ需要学生在自己感兴趣的领域（学术、艺术、作品集、表演、调研均可） 完成一个课题，完成开题报告+过程日记+论文+答辩即可获得EPQ成绩单。EPQ相当于半门A Level。分数等级为A*--E。
