Our HDPE or PERT pipe are made of inert chemical materials and have excellent corrosion resistance to chemicals such as acid and alkali. The commonly used refrigerant in domestic and foreign ice rinks is usually 40% concentration of ethylene glycol, which has certain corrosive properties. Our ice tubes can run ethylene glycol for decades without corrosion.

Ice rink is a very energy consuming project. Electricity bills are an important part of the operating costs of ice rinks. Choosing high-quality ice pipelines is an important part of energy conservation in ice rinks.
1. High quality ice pipes with excellent thermal conductivity. It can reduce the temperature difference between ethylene glycol in the pipeline and the ice surface temperature, reduce the evaporation temperature of the refrigeration unit, and thus reduce the power consumption of the unit. The thermal conductivity of HDPE ice rink specialized ice pipes is as high as 0.45-0.5 w/m · k, and the thermal conductivity of PERT ice rink specialized ice pipes is as high as 0.64-0.7 w/m · k, both of which are significantly higher than ordinary products in the same industry.
2. High quality ice pipelines have smoother inner walls, lower friction coefficients, and are less prone to scaling, greatly reducing water pressure loss. Therefore, lower power pumps can be selected to achieve energy-saving effects.
Our PERT pipes have an inner wall roughness coefficient of K=0.003-0.005, EPDM pipes have an inner wall roughness coefficient of K=0.013=0.014, and HDPE pipes have an inner wall roughness coefficient of K=0.009-0.01

Energy saving

It can be directly laid on top of the concrete leveling layer or poured directly into the concrete, without linear expansion of the pipe and cracking of the concrete layer caused by stress concentration, and can achieve long-term safe use

Small linear expansion

The low-temperature brittleness point of our pipe is extremely low, and it can be safely used within the range of -60 ℃~60 ℃. Long term use will not cause pipe brittleness.

Good low-temperature resistance performance

The pipe material has good flexibility, is easy to bend, has low stress, is easy to install, and is not afraid of scratches and bumps. It can resist to some extent the impact and trampling during construction.
The pipes can be connected by hot melt, which is firm and pressure resistant, safe and reliable, and eliminates the possibility of leakage.

Excellent physical performance

Our pipelines come in black, white, and transparent colors, suitable for different project requirements.
Transparent pipes can directly see the situation of ethylene glycol inside the pipes, which can be used for construction and maintenance. Color options

1. Air cooled ice rink chiller

Cima air-cooled refrigeration unit adopts air ventilation cooling method (fan cooling), with a simple structure, eliminating the essential cooling tower, cooling water pump and pipeline system of water-cooled system, avoiding unit scaling and water pipe blockage caused by poor water quality and air pollution. It is the most economical and simplest model for maintenance and repair.
Air cooled refrigeration units are suitable for areas with scarce water sources. The longer the annual operating hours and the lower the annual average temperature, the lower the overall cost.

Cima ice rink chillers are customized from ISO certified manufacturers, specifically designed for real ice rinks, with excellent quality and complete certification.
Refrigeration units can be divided into various types such as air-cooled, water-cooled, and evaporative cooling. We recommend the optimal unit based on the specific working conditions of climate projects in different regions

2. Water cooled ice rink chiller

The water-cooled refrigeration unit adopts the cooling water cooling method, and the water cooled by the cooling tower is pumped to the condenser of the unit to cool the unit. Cooling tower, water pump, and water pipeline system are required.
Water cooled refrigeration units have high refrigeration efficiency and are suitable for environments with high loads and high temperatures. However, water-cooled refrigeration units require frequent maintenance, otherwise scaling, bacterial and algal growth, and sludge problems may occur, affecting the operation of the system.

3. Evaporative refrigeration unit

The evaporative cooling unit combines the advantages of air-cooled and water-cooled units, and directly uses a spray and ventilation method to cool the condenser of the unit. It has the highest refrigeration efficiency, reduces power consumption, and is also more water-saving. Its disadvantage is that the equipment is expensive and the initial investment is relatively large.
