Middle school liberal arts knowledge competition

为激发学生们对文科综合知识的兴趣，提升个人文史知识的储备，特举行本次文科综合知识竞赛，5月16日晚自习进行初赛。

In order to stimulate students' interest in comprehensive knowledge of liberal arts and enhance their knowledge of literature and history, the competition of comprehensive knowledge of liberal arts was held on May 16. Through the competition, not only improve the overall quality of students, but also cultivate their team cooperation ability.

5月18日，语文组钟雨老师在203班进行《贝的故事》语文展示课。通过本次展示课的观摩学习，听课老师们明确了自己课堂的优点和不足，对提高驾驭课堂、提升课堂课堂教学实效能力有着积极推动作用。

On May 18, teacher Zhong of Chinese group had a Chinese demo class in class 203. Through the observation and learning of this class, the teachers realized the advantages and disadvantages of their own class, which plays a positive role in improving the teaching ability.

5月13日，小学部进行语文、数学两门学科抽测。5月17-19日，小学部各年级任课老师进行抽测分析会。各科老师将本次抽测普遍存在的问题进行合理化分析，根据各年级特点进行合理化建议，从而提升学校教育教学质量。

On May 13, there were Chinese and math tests in primary schools. From May 17 to 19, a sampling analysis meeting was held in primary schools. The teachers analyzed the common problems in this sampling test and gave suggestions, so as to improve the quality of school education and teaching.

为了让六年级的同学们更好的了解和适应初中部学习生活，5月18日晚自习，初中部学生会副主席赵子朗同学针对初中部日常行为规范要求、检查制度和奖惩措施，向六年级的同学们进行了充分解读，让六年级同学提前了解了初中常规要求。

In order to make the grade 6 students adapt to the study life of middle school, Lang Zhao, vice chairman of the middle school student union, interpreted the code of conduct, inspection system and reward and punishment measures of middle school. Let the grade 6 students understand the outine requirements in advance.

5月19日，数学组颜晓彤老师在101进行《100以内退位减法》数学展示课。此次展示课旨在促进教师整体素质的发展，通过观摩学习，展示了颜老师扎实的教学水平，为我校老师提供了良好的学习交流的机会。

On May 19, teacher Yan of math group had a mathematics demo class in 101. This demo course aims to promote the development of teachers' overall quality and provide good learning and communication opportunities for our teachers.

为了帮助初三学生家长规划好孩子的中考志愿，我校于5月19日下午进行了本次中考填报志愿家长会，学校现场为家长进行中考填报志愿的注意事项和报考流程指导。

在美食节以及文明礼仪周到来之际，5月19日下午，学校邀请到必胜客餐厅老师，为同学们讲解西餐礼仪文化。通过本次大会，同学们对西餐礼仪文化产生了浓厚的兴趣，有了充分的认识和理解。

为了帮助六年级的同学们做好进入初中的准备，5月20日，初中部学生会的同学们利用午休时间，为601班打造样板教室，并为其进行解读。初中部学生会的耐心讲解，帮助六年级的同学明确规则，落实标准，从而向着榜样更好的学习和前进。

In order to help grade 6 students prepare for entering middle school, on May 20, the middle school student union cleaned the classroom for class 601, helping them to make clear the rules and implement the standards.

为庆祝建党100周年，进一步弘扬中华体育精神，坚定体育文化自信，贯彻落实全民健身国家战略，5月21日，潍坊枫叶的师生以饱满的热情和昂扬的状态参加了潍城区2021年第十一届全民健身运动会暨中小学春季田径运动会。本次活动为我们搭建了展示特长和风采的舞台，今后学校师生将以更大的热情参加全民健身活动，努力练就强健体魄，以更加昂扬的斗志，助力教育和体育事业实现更高质量发展。

为了帮助小升初的家长更好的解决择校问题，5月22日，潍坊枫叶为校外的家长和同学们准备了本次校园开放日活动。家长朋友们通过参观校园，体验枫叶特色外教课程和网球社团课程以及面对面交流，更加深刻的了解了枫叶教育理念，对潍坊枫叶的校园文化、校园环境、办学模式、教学优势以及师资力量有了更加深入的体会。

On May 22, we held a campus open day for parents and students outside the school. Through the activities, parents and friends have a better understanding of Maple Leaf education concept, and have a deep understanding of the campus culture, campus environment and teaching advantages of MLIS.

初中部理科知识竞赛初赛

Middle school science knowledge competition - preliminary

为了夯实理科基础，促进初中部同学对理科知识的理解和应用，展现同学们积极进取的学习态度，特此举办理科知识竞赛，初赛于5月23日晚自习进行。

Middle school held a science knowledge competition on the evening of May 23. Through this competition, the students' team cooperation ability, innovative thinking and problem-solving ability are cultivated.

5月24日上午，我校进行本周升旗仪式。在302班全体同学主题为《自我管理》的精彩演讲后，周凯校长为获得枫叶教育集团十五年员工荣誉总务处祝善峰主任颁发枫叶十五周年荣誉证书，总务处祝善峰主任为获得枫叶教育集团十年员工荣誉周凯校长以及英语中心孙拓主任颁发证书。

On the morning of May 24, our school held a flag raising ceremony. President Jimmy Zhou presented the honorary certificate for the 15th anniversary of Maple Leaf to Director Zhu of the general affairs department. Director Zhu presented the certificate to President Jimmy Zhou and director Romeo Sun of the ESL Center.

5月25日下午，周凯校长为902班同学们进行了本次二模历史试题讲评课。周校长从东周故事开始，帮助同学们分析中考动向，讲评二模试题。同学们通过周校长的耐心讲解了解到中考历史试题特点，从而更好地做到夯实基础，拓展能力，为接下来的中考做足准备。

5月26日为本周英语日，上午大课间，同学们通过反校园欺凌活动了解欺凌的定义、欺凌与被欺凌的危害、以及应对欺凌的方法，培养保护自己、善待和关爱他人的意识，认识到反欺凌的重要性，在遇到冲突时学会理性的化解，通过自己的实际行动对校园欺凌说不。

Let students understand the definition of bullying, the harm of bullying and being bullied, and the ways to deal with bullying. Cultivate students' awareness of self-protection, kindness and caring for others, and realize the importance of anti bullying. When encountering conflicts, learn to resolve rationally, and say no to campus bullying.

5月26日下午，教导处陈佳老师《长方形和正方形的认识》和赵瑜婷老师《年月日的认识》的数学展示课分别在203和302班进行。通过观摩，帮助老师们改进课堂教学，更加明确教学目标及教学目的，促进教师之间的相互学习，有利于老师的快速成长。

On the afternoon of May 26, the demo classes of teacher Chen and teacher Zhao were held in class 203 and 302. Through the demonstration class, teachers can learn from each other, which is conducive to the rapid growth of teachers.

英语创意写作分享会

Original Writing Affairs

为了帮助学生成为a better writer，培养学生的写作兴趣，提高学生的写作能力，同时也为了能进一步提高中外教的职业素养，本次英语艺术节中，设置了枫叶英语创意写作分享会的活动。中外教通过课堂教授planning，课堂练习写作drafting和修改editing，课堂展示，集中展示publishing等方式，提高了学生的写作水平。

In order to help students become a better writer, cultivate students' interest in writing, improve their writing ability, and further improve the professionalism of ESL teachers, Original Writing Affairs was held.
