        劳动是生活的基础，是幸福的源泉，也是每个人走向成功和辉煌的唯一途径。五一假期，我校初中部开展了“为劳动者点赞”实践活动，让同学们了解“劳动节”的由来，了解我国不同时代的劳模风采。通过在学校、家庭两个层面参与不同类型的劳动，培养学生积极劳动的热情，养成爱劳动的好习惯，并能珍惜他人的劳动成果。

During the May Day holiday, middle school of our school carried out the activity of "praise for workers", so that students can understand the origin of "Labor Day" and the style of model workers in different times of our country. Through participating in different types of labor in school and family, we can cultivate students' enthusiasm, form a good habit and cherish the labor achievements of others.

       又是一年择校季，为了让校外的家长和同学们更直观地了解潍坊枫叶国际学校的情况，5月5日，枫叶校园开放日如约来临。此次活动，家长和同学们通过参观校园、体验课堂、面对面交流等环节，对枫叶教育教育理念有了深入了解，对潍坊枫叶校园文化、校园环境、师资配备、课程体系、后勤服务等内容有了亲身体会。

In order to let parents and students outside the school know about Maple Leaf International School-Weifang, an open day was held on May 5.        5月5日，教导处王楠老师主题为《如何让孩子爱上学习》的公益讲座在万科营销中心举行。通过此次讲座，家长在教育孩子方面有了新的认识，意识到家庭教育的重要性，认清了自己的教育问题和努力方向，只有家庭教育和学校教育有机结合，孩子才能健康健康茁长的成长。

On May 5, teacher Anita Wang's lecture on how to make children love learning was held in Vank. Through the lecture, parents have a new understanding in educating their children, realize the importance of family education, and recognize their own education problems and direction.        5月8日下午，我校九年级班级针对本次体育中考进行了总结班会，每一位同学对自己的表现进行总结点评。希望这次体育中考可以开一个好头，在接下来的中考中取得优异的成绩。

In order to promote traditional virtues, let children feel the great selflessness of their mothers, learn to thank their mothers and appreciate their lives.        为加强学校安全工作，进一步培养广大师生在突发性灾害来临时，掌握有关防震逃生知识技能，提高在防震减灾意识和地震发生时的应急自救互救技能，5月11日下午，我校开展了一次以“防震减灾”为主题的安全教育班会。

       为了学校长远的发展，5月13日和14日，学校分别召开社团负责人和班级家委会主任招生座谈交流会。会议上周凯校长指出，家长及社团是学校宣传的重要渠道和窗口，作为枫叶的一份子，大家有责任和义务对潍坊枫叶的发展建言献策。各社团负责人及家委会主任纷纷表示，在接下来的时间里将做好枫叶代言人，将潍坊枫叶的办学特色更好的传递给身边的人。

On May 13 and 14, the school held a meeting for the club leaders and the class parents' committee directors. In the meeting, the principal thought that parents and clubs were the important ways for school publicity. Everyone said that they would do a good job as Maple Leaf spokespersons and pass on the characteristics of Maple Leaf to the people around them.
