Huaiyin, the capital of maternal love, is a millennium old county with a history of more than 2300 years. It is the hometown of Han Xin, the Marquis of Huaiyin, one of the three heroes in the early Han Dynasty, which deduces the eternal story of the floating mother's "a thousand gold for a meal".

Huaiyin District is located in the northern part of Huai'an , one of the four administrative districts under the administration of Huai'an. It is located on the geographical north-south divide of China and has four distinct seasons throughout the year.

Huai'an is known as the "confluence of five waters and the thoroughfare of nine provinces", and has initially formed a three-dimensional transportation network with high-grade highways as the main skeleton, and highways, railways, airlines and water transport. 淮安高铁东站可直达100多个城市，到达北京、上海和南京分别只需“3、2、1”个小时，淮阴城区距高铁站仅20分钟左右车程。

Huai'andong Railway Station has direct access to more than 100 cities, reaching Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing in just "3, 2 and 1" hours respectively, and Huaiyin city is only about 20 minutes drive from the station.

淮徐、京沪、宁连等3条高速公路和多条国省道干线穿境而过，境内有6个高速出入口。城区高架已建成通车。

Three expressways such as Huai'an–Xuzhou Expressway, Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Nanjing-Lianyungang Conventional Expressway and several national and provincial trunk roads pass through the territory, and there are six Expressway entrances and exits in the territory. The urban overpass has been completed and opened to traffic.

淮安涟水国际机场是国家一类航空口岸，苏北航空货运枢纽，淮阴城区距机场仅25分钟左右车程。

淮安内河航道通江达海，500万吨级以上吞吐能力码头4个，千吨级以上泊位92个，城东港国家二类水路口岸就位于淮阴境内。
