Dear MCers,

Time flies by so quickly, and suddenly we find ourselves at the end of the semester. Throughout this year, we have experienced a great deal together. We have faced the challenges brought by COVID, as well as enjoyed the array of activities that followed the easing of restrictions. It brings me immense joy to have witnessed your growth during this journey.

I want to express just how truly amazing you have been this year! From the captivating house music at the start of the year to the diverse performances and competitions, your unwavering dedication has shone through. Each time I see you standing on stage, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride. You exemplify the values that define a Harrovian: courage, fellowship, honour, and humility.

A special note of gratitude also extends to the entire MC community. It is through your collective enthusiasm, support, and teamwork that we have created such a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Your positive interactions, kindness towards one another, and willingness to lend a helping hand have made a significant impact on our school community.

I would also like to commend each and every one of you for your resilience and adaptability throughout the challenges we faced this year. 

As we approach the end of this academic year, take this well-deserved vacation as an opportunity to recharge and rejuvenate. Spend quality time with loved ones, explore new interests, and create lasting memories. 

Once again, I am immensely proud of you. Thank you for making this year a truly remarkable one. May the next chapter in your journey be filled with even more growth, accomplishments, and happiness.

We are entrusted with the responsibility of leading our respective houses this academic year, and we promote unity as well as healthy competition amongst the students. We serve as the liaison between the students and the school administration, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

We help with organizing various house competitions and activities throughout the year. From the exciting house music competition to engaging house assemblies, we are striving to create an environment where every student can actively participate, showcase their talents, and feel a sense of belonging.

Being a House Captain personally provides us with a remarkable platform for growth and the development of crucial leadership skills. Throughout this year, we learn the art of communication, team management, and problem-solving.

By actively engaging with our peers and working closely with teachers and staff members, we develop invaluable skills such as organization, time management, and decision-making. These skills not only benefit us during our time as House Captains but also lay a solid foundation for our future academic and daily life.

It's been a great year getting to know the fabulous members of Year 10 and Year 11 MC. I am incredibly proud of all the hard work you've put in this year and it has been a real honour to be your tutor. I'd like to wish all the Year 11's a well deserved and restful summer and all the best luck going into sixth form, wherever in the world that may be! For the Year 10's have a wonderful break and I can't wait to see you again next year! 

Our Year 8s have had such a great year from designing art boards, taking part in various house competitions and supporting each other throughout. It has been a pleasure guiding you through the ups and downs, watching you develop and succeed; all the while doing so with pride and humility. You have shown courage in the face of adversity, exercised fellowship amongst each other and the greater school community and done so with such honour! I'm looking forward to seeing you all thrive in the new year. 

Mr. Christopher MeehanWhat a fantastic year for our Year 7 students. It has been a pleasure to watch them grow and develop, seeing them engage in whole school activities and events, represent the school in sports events and have a positive attitude towards school. It has been a great honour for me to be your tutor, and I wish all you successful journies into Year 8!
