Dao Xiang Cun’s brand story
Craftsman Spirit and Skill Inheritance
Dao Xiang Cun (Suzhou) originated from 1773 (the thirty-eighth year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty), and it has been around for 248 years ago. At that time, it was called "Suzhou Daoxiang Village Tea Shop". When Emperor Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River, after eating the pastries of Daoxiang Village in Suzhou, he praised it as "the most delicious food in the food", and the inscription on the plaque became famous all over the world. Daoxiang Village adheres to the "artisan spirit" in its products, and traditional handicraft skills are passed on from generation to generation through the method of "master leads apprentices". It has been passed down from its founding to the sixth generation.
The inheritance of skills is entirely based on oral teaching, the craftsmanship is complex, the craftsmanship is strong, the quality requirements are strict, and the shape is required to be beautiful, but no mold is used, such as the Daoxiangcun Su-style moon cake. Long-term practice has accumulated rich experience.
