As the year enters the season of harvest, aside from the Mid Autumn Festival and Double Ninth celebrations, Stella organized the annual charity event with the Dalingshan nursing home to visit and donate to the elderly.

The event began at 10 in the morning when colleagues from the admin dept drove a truck full of rice and oil to the nursing home. By the time Stella volunteer were done unpacking the truck and placing supplies in storage, it was mid noon and everyone had beads of sweat on their foreheads from working under the sun. However, no one was complaining about the heat, instead there was a smile on everyone’s faces. The fulfillment of having the ability to give back to the community overweights physical discomfort.

The head of the nursing home expressed her gratitude for Stella’s annual donation, adding that although this is her first time organizing a charity event as head, she has witnessed Stella’s perseverance in charity throughout her employment at the nursing home. She even showed us pictures of past charity events with Stella from when she was still an assistant at the nursing home.

Paying it forward not only passes on love, it also creates a new culture of positivity through the process.
