Meet our teacher------Ms.Jamila Song
时光飞逝,转眼间就到了说再见的时刻。小学五年级的同学在宋老师的组织下创作了童年作品集,以此纪念难忘的小学岁月。九年级的Sophie同学采访了宋老师,以下简称S和J:
S:您好,我是九年级的Sophie,非常荣幸能有机会采访您。您能自我介绍一下吗?J:您好,我是五年级的语文老师宋丽。我2022年加入嘉兴市诺德安达学校,与五年级同学共同度过了非常美好的一年。S:为什么要组织五年级的同学们完成毕业纪念册,您能介绍一下其中的内容吗?J:这个毕业作品集是五年级所有同学共创的。这次我们集中展出的作品是“童年”主题的习作。同学们回忆了童年里的点滴,真情流露,笔触稚嫩但却细腻。很多同学在追忆童年
S: Hi Ms. Jamila. I'm Sophie from Year 9. I'm very honored to have the opportunity to interview you. Can you introduce yourself please?
J:Hello, I am Jamila Song, the Chinese teacher of Grade 5. I joined Nord Anglia School Jiaxing in 2022 and had an amazing year with my Grade 5 students.
S: May I ask why you decided to organize this collection of students’ work? Can you tell us what’s in it?
J: Of course. This portfolio was created by all Grade 5 students. We were working on the Childhood theme. The students recalled their memories of childhood. Their skills of writing were still developing but I’m glad to see many students have made great progress and shown their passion in writing. They shared their joyful childhood. I am very happy that the students' first attempt of being "little editors" has produced such a great outcome!
Grade 5 is in the transition year. I have been thinking about what graduation gift I should give to them. I was inspired by their stories. Good memories should be treasured. Wouldn't it be meaningful to share our work with the school community? This idea then led to the action of producing this special issue--Xin He Graduation - A Collection of Childhood Works. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Angela Shen and Ms. Helen Zhuang for their support!
S: Thank you! What do you want to say to your students?
J: I'd like to thank my students! I'm touched by their love towards Chinese language! Whenever I see their works, I can truly feel their effort! Seeing their willingness to take challenges, their improvement in thinking skills, and the spirit of teamwork, I am very happy about what they have achieved!
I would like to say to my dear students:You have made me very proud and honored! I have seen the language shine in your eyes and hearts. I believe you can make languages more vibrant as you grow older. Finally, I look forward to my dear students continuing to enjoy the study of language and literature. You will gain all-round progress in your next studies, confident and happy, with the future to look forward to!
童趣中完成了写作的突破,分享了儿时的快乐和成长。作品也是同学们自己输入Word编辑的,我很开心同学们第一次尝试做“小编辑”就有这么棒的成果!五年级的同学们处于小升初的衔接之年,我一直在想要给他们送什么样的毕业礼物。在教学相长的过程中,我得到了同学们的启发:美好的记忆值得保存。那用文字的形式记录童年的珍贵,把同学们的作品收录成辑,印刷出来,不是一件有意义的事情吗?由此生发了制作《新禾毕业特刊·童年作品集》的想法。这离不开沈杰校长和主编庄老师的支持,在此我要对她们表达真挚的感谢!
S:谢谢!您能对我们的毕业生说一下您的期许吗?J:我想谢谢五年级同学们!他们展现出的那份对语文的热爱和投入让我感动!每当看到他们的作业、作品和学习成果,我都能真切地感受到他们的用心和努力!看着他们勇于接受挑战,逐步提高个人思维能力,团结合作地完成任务,我由衷地感到欣慰!在毕业之际,我想对我亲爱的同学们说:你们让我感到非常骄傲和自豪!我看到了语文在你们眼中、心中闪闪发光。我相信你们能让语文随着年龄的增长而具有更强的生命力!最后,我期待我亲爱的同学们继续享受语言和文学的学习。在接下来的学习中获得全面的进步,自信、快乐,未来可期!
