French fashion originated from their traditional humanism and baroque style. The scope of fashion is also increasingly defined, from the initial view of art historian Anne Holland that fashion is clothing to Simmel's view that "fashion is a broader social phenomenon". It is constantly expanding and has gained consensus among research scholars. We can think of it this way: the narrow sense of "fashion" revolves around clothing and clothing, while the broad sense of "fashion"
