ACROBiosystems Launches 3D Organoid Solution to Advance Biopharmaceutical Research
Organoid Toolbox Solution to Make Organoids "Outstanding"
Since the second half of 2023, ACROBiosystems has continuously introduced a range of innovative organoid-related products. In a series of important exhibitions held at home and abroad recently, such as the International Organoid Summit 2024, Alzheimer's Research UK Conference 2024, World Organoid Research Day 2024, and other activities, ACROBiosystems can be found to showcase its achievements. Ms. Rosanna Zhang, VP for Strategic Initiatives and BD&L of ACROBiosystems reiterated the importance of organoid technology research and development in industrial practice and introduced the company's strategic layout in this field.
What are organoids & industry significance
Organoids are miniature organs composed of multiple types of cells with structural and functional characteristics similar to real organs. The process of culturing organoids typically involves obtaining stem or adult cells from a tissue sample and then promoting cellular self-
cellular self-organization through specific culture conditions and the addition of growth factors. These cells gradually develop into three-dimensional structures with multiple cell types that resemble miniature models of real organs. Compared to traditional 2D cellular and animal models, organoids can provide models that are closer to the complex physiological environment and genetic background of the human body and can better reflect the response and effects of drugs in the human body for research and understanding of human development, disease mechanisms, as well as drug development and safety assessment.
ACROBiosystems Organoid Layout
To promote research, drug discovery, and therapeutic processes in organoid-related fields, ACROBiosystems launched Organoid Toolbox solutions, which focus on promoting the application and development of organoids in various fields and unleashing organoid potential. Organoid Toolbox solutions include ready-to-use organoids, organoid differentiation kits, organoid culture cytokines, organoid culture matrix gels, organoid technical services, and organoid pathology testing services.
ACROBiosystems has successfully constructed multiple organoid toxicology evaluation models for the heart, brain, liver, and intestines, as well as simulation models for Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, enteritis, and other diseases. Based on the featured organoid R&D platform, the company is continuously extending its research boundaries and is committed to developing more types of organoids, such as retina, skin, lungs, etc., to enrich the application fields of organoid solutions. With its original and advanced organoid differentiation, storage, and transportation technologies, ACROBiosystems has made significant breakthroughs in challenging areas such as high differentiation difficulty and long differentiation cycles of organoid types for heart, brain, and retina, and can provide global partners with organoid solutions that make organoid differentiation more efficient and organoid use more convenient.
Relying on strict ISO-certified quality management, GMP standards, and CNAS-accredited services, ACROBiosystems ensures the quality stability, high purity, high activity, and batch-to-batch consistency of organoid products.

Secondly, the recognition of the company's brand is undermined because users often regard high-quality content as an important sign of the reliability of the website. If users find information to be wrong or lack value, they are likely to decide that the website is unreliable, to give up visiting again, which not only damages the authoritative position of the website in users’ perception but may even have an immeasurable negative impact on the overall image and reputation of the company.
Finally, negligence of content management will also directly affect the marketing effect of the website, because inaccurate or missing information can cause potential customers to struggle to find the products they need, which can lead to missed sales opportunities and loss of customer resources.
Therefore, to ensure the stable operation of the company's official website and excellent marketing effect, we must strengthen the management of the information quality of the website and provide valuable, accurate, and professional content, to attract and retain customers, and then enhance the overall image and brand value of the company.
To this end, the PMT team is now implementing the Pick project, which aims to solicit the active participation of all employees to help spot and correct errors on the ACRO website. Through this project, we hope to significantly reduce the error rate of information on the website, to further enhance the customer experience, create a good image of the ACRO brand, and make the website more professional, standardized, and attractive.
The project will be officially launched on April 19, 2024, and is scheduled to end on December 31, 2024.
Project content:
1. Collect all kinds of error information and send to the official Pick email: pick@acrobiosystems.com;
2. Classify and record according to the types of problem, and keep track of the completion progress;

3. Assign personnel to deal with matters that are not specifically classified.
4. Summarize Pick information monthly, review error types, and improve management.
Project Process
Project Reward
In order to encourage active participation of all employees, the recognition currency incentive policy is implemented, and the specific rules are as follows:
Reward Description:
1. Reward will be disbursed at the beginning of each month for picks from the previous month to the approved currency account.
2. The Top 3 employees who make the most mistakes will be rewarded with 100, 80, or 50 approved coins each month.
3. The annual cap for recognition coins is 2000.
4. In the case where multiple products have the same error or a product contains multiple types of error, recognition coins will be given based on the reward levels the Pick falls into, up to 100 approved coins. If the number of products Picked is large, reward coins will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
5. If a problem is picked out by many people at the same time, the first person to email it to the Pick team will be rewarded.
6. If certain descriptions do not conform to the current standard or format and such nonconformity is caused by historical reasons, then such nonconformity cannot be picked as problems or errors; hence picking this kind of problem does not warrant any recognition coins.
7. For any types of errors not listed above, the Pick project leader will evaluate whether they are errors and determine the reward level.

The very first 2024 New Employee Orientation was held on March 28th in Acro Beijing. As the main trainer, Ms.Yinmei Qin led 42 new employees in this offline training session. A lineup of extinguished mentors were invited to participate in this NEO session, Li-Yeh Feng, Team Lead for Planning, Dr. Lili Qin from R&D, Simin He, Director of Marketing, Lan Mi, Director of Human Resources, and Mike Chen, CEO of Acro. They introduced the company's extraordinary history, explained each department’s functions, and interpreted the company's culture, mission, and values to the new employees. This training played an important part in helping new employees to quickly adapt to the new environment, understand the company, change their mindset, and better engage in their work.

Project Management Practice Training
To better support project management, create a more professional team of project managers, and help Acro's business breakthrough, the first phase of Acro's "Project Management Practice" training was successfully held on 12-13 of April 2024 in Acro Beijing. Through this training, participants not only systematically learned and practiced the theory and tools of project management, but also learned to develop project management processes and specifications, and improve the project management level, leadership, and teamwork ability. For any enterprise, the completion of projects means being able to achieve goals more effectively, responding to market changes faster, as well as gaining advantages in the fierce market competition. With the deepening implementation of the company's globalization strategy over the past several years, our corporation has seen a substantial expansion of its international presence, accompanied by a steady rise in both the establishment of overseas subsidiaries and the size of the international workforce. Nonetheless, during this period of swift expansion, we have grappled with hurdles in cross-border cooperation and service support functions. Within the context of Information Technology (IT) support, the absence of a uniform and effective communication pathway and problem-resolution system has led to overseas employees frequently facing difficulties in seeking assistance when encountering IT problems. This situation not only hampers their work productivity but also introduces potential hazards to the smooth functioning of our entire business operations.
Project Purpose:
Project Purpose: In response to this prevailing situation, we have initiated the ACRO IT Service platform development project, aiming to create an integrated service platform that combines intelligent self-service capabilities, real-time online support, and a standardized ticket management system. Through the ACRO IT Service platform, both domestic and international employees can easily leverage AI-powered chatbots for round-the-clock access to preliminary solutions or engage directly with live support agents for immediate troubleshooting of technical issues. Moreover, the platform supports the submission and tracking of tickets, ensuring that complex problems follow established procedures and receive timely and effective handling. Ultimately, this initiative will greatly enhance the quality of IT services and response times, boost the productivity of global staff members, and thereby contribute to the steady advancement and increased international competitiveness of the company's overall business operations.

"Spring breeze is for who, butterflies are overall grass tops", " Willows dance in the morning mist, pink apricots blossom in full bloom ", "Everyone feels the spring breeze, colorful flowers announce spring’s here"... Spring, is a poetic season; Spring is a season full of vigor and hope. To provide colleagues an opportunity to enjoy the spring after work to strengthen the construction of department culture and improve team cohesion, the Manufacture Department organized an outdoor team-building activity with the theme " Cohesion and Strength, Hand in Hand for the Future ". The activity turned out to be a very enjoyable trip, with participants from EHS, SCM, IT, AFT-Administration, HR, Government Affairs Dept., FIN department, and so on.

This activity was held at the Wild Duck Camping Base on the edge of Yangcheng Lake. We gathered at 10 o’clock, with full participation.
After the initial assembly, we took a break and had some snacks to replenish energy for our next activity, including a physically challenging game. Some of our colleagues couldn't wait to start playing poker.

Once the team-building games were over, we had free time. We had a reservation for karts. Even if the temperature is approaching 30℃, it still cannot stop everyone's enthusiasm to show their skills.
Safety goes first so we listened to the staff explaining the precautions.
After one lap, everyone felt like he/she could be a racing driver.
Happy times always fly. At the end of a happy day, we are looking forward to the next time together. In this team building, except for the two colleagues who were on a business trip, all the other colleagues participated in it, which made me feel the enthusiasm of everyone. At the same time, I also saw that the new partners quickly integrated into the group, as well as the friendly interaction with non-colleagues in the department, all of which made everyone feel the harmonious, mutual help, healthy, and happy team atmosphere.
