公司前身是仪征化纤下属企业。2001年注册成立江苏康大无纺有限公司，注册资金8000万元，占地30000平方米。公司坐落于中国化纤无纺特色名镇江苏省仪征市胥浦工业园区内，东接历史文化名城扬州20公里，西距六朝古都南京70公里，南临长江，与仪征化纤一墙之隔。
公司拥有热熔、化学粘合、熔喷、针刺等多条无纺保暖材料生产线及后整理设施，拥有军用被装保暖材料技术研发中心。2001年至今先后参与了多项军用被装、公安警服、行业制服，品牌服饰保暖材料的研制、开发，参与了多项技术规范标准的制定，产品形成专业化、系列化，多次获军队、行业科技成果奖。现为解放军被装材料、公安部警服材料入库供应商。研发的多维蓄热保暖絮片被北京2022冬奥会和冬残奥会组委会指定为北京冬奥会赛时制服专用保暖材料。
