工程监理即实施阶段业主方项目管理，是指具有相应资质的工程监理企业，受工程项目建设单位委托，依据有关法律、法规，经建设主管部门批准的工程项目建设文件、建设工程委托合同及其他建设工程合同，在施工阶段对建设工程进行“三控两管一协调”，并履行安全生产管理法定职责的活动。

Project supervision is client-representative project management in the construction stage.
