北理工学子科创金奖作品登上“天宫”空间站!

天舟五号搭载的北理工师生团队研制的“微流控芯片辐射损伤生物剂量仪”载荷,将用于建立在轨辐射损伤风险监测的新技术新方法研究。

这一载荷的研发基础,是由生命学院学生团队参与研制的微生物传感器。该团队以合成生物学技术为手段,利用微生物构建了微生物传感器,用于DNA损伤效应检测,凭借这一研究成果,团队荣获了2019国际遗传工程机器大赛(iGEM)金奖和最佳硬件单项奖提名。

此后,师生团队持续攻关,在大赛成果基础上,针对空间环境辐射生物剂量效应研究需求,解决了空间辐射生物剂量核心关键技术,研制了“微流控芯片辐射损伤生物剂量仪”载荷。

师生团队研究成果能够成功服务于我国空间站建设,既是多年的科研积累,更是人才培养新模式的生动体现。承担此次“微流控芯片辐射损伤生物剂量仪”载荷研究的项目团队从新工科建设要求出发,以能力建设为内涵,提出了以竞赛为牵引的大学生创新创业能力培养模式,连续多年指导学生开展创新研究,参加合成生物学竞赛、全国大学生生命科学竞赛、全国大学生电子设计竞赛、国际空间科学与载荷大赛等多项国内外竞赛,其中,连续10年参加国际遗传工程机器大赛(iGEM),获5金3银2铜的突出成绩。此外,项目团队十分重视科研反哺教学,结合重大工程研究,鼓励学生开展创新,形成了的一系列重要成果。

此前,“梦天”实验舱在发射时还搭载了该团队研制的“地外居留舱微生物检测模块”,该模块将在空间条件下对微生物实施在轨检测、高通量培养和空间站微生物检测。
多年来,该团队在空间载荷研究方面做出了重要贡献。2011年,该团队成果经“神舟”八号搭载,开启了我国在轨基因扩增实验的先河。此后,连续开展了长征七号首飞实验载荷、天舟一号实验载荷以及国际空间站实验载荷等多次空间科学飞行实验。

The ‘Microfluidic Chip Radiation Damage Biological Dosimeter’ payload developed by the BIT faculty and student team on Tianzhou 5 will be used to establish new technologies and methods for on-orbit radiation damage risk monitoring.

The foundation for the research and development of this payload is the microbial sensor developed by the student team of the School of Life Science. Using synthetic biology technology as a means, the team used microorganisms to construct microbial sensors for the detection of DNA damage effects. With this research achievement, the team won the Gold Award and nomination for the Best Hardware Individual Award in the 2019 International Genetic Engineering Machine Competition (iGEM).

The team of teachers and students has continued to tackle key problems. Based on the previous achievements, and in response to the research needs of the space environment radiation biological dose effect, the core key technology of the space radiation biological dose has been obtained, and the ‘Microfluidic Chip Radiation Damage Biological Dosimeter’ payload has been developed.

It is the accumulation of scientific research for many years, and also a vivid depiction of the new model of talent training that the research results can serve the construction of China Space Station. The research team proceeded following the requirements of new engineering construction, with capacity building as the connotation, and proposed a competition-driven innovation and entrepreneurship training model for college students. For years, the students were guided to conduct innovative research, and participated in many domestic and foreign competitions such as the Synthetic Biology Competition, the National Undergraduate Life Science Competition, the National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition, and the International Space Science and Payload Competition. Participating in the International Genetic Engineering Machine Competition (iGEM) for 10 consecutive years, the research team won 5 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals. In addition, the research team values feedbacks from scientific research to teaching. Incorporating major engineering research, students were encouraged to carry out innovation, and formed a series of important achievements.

Previously, the Mengtian experimental module was also equipped with the "extraterrestrial habitat microbial detection module" developed by the team when it was launched. This module will implement on-orbit detection, high-throughput cultivation and space station microbial detection of microorganisms under space conditions.

Over the years, the team has made important contributions to space payload research. In 2011, the team's research results were carried by Shenzhou 8, which served as a precedent for China's on-orbit gene amplification experiment. Since then, several space scientific flight experiments have been carried out in succession, including test payload of Long March 7 first flight, Tianzhou-1 test payload, and the International Space Station test payload.

       我是朴高恩。2011年来到北京理工大学攻读硕士学位。在北京理工大学取得硕士学位后便留在中国。现在作为中国外文局亚太传播中心韩国籍专家,也是韩文《中国》视频节目主持人。
I'm Park Goeun. In 2011, I came to BIT to pursue a master's degree. I stayed in China after receiving a master's degree from BIT. Now, I am a Korean expert in the CICG Center for Asia and Pacific, and also the host of "China", a Korean video program.

       中韩两国在政治、经济、文化、人文等各领域的交流广泛、合作密切,但两国人民还需要进一步相互了解。来中国之前,我对中国和中国文化了解也不够,但是随着从事媒体工作,接触到了形形色色的中国人,我渐渐爱上了热情好客的中国人,爱上了中国美食。
China and South Korea have extensive exchanges and close cooperation in various fields such as politics, economy, culture and humanity, but the people of the two countries still need to further understand each other. Before I came to China, I didn't know much about China or Chinese culture, but as I worked in the media and met all kinds of Chinese people, I gradually fell in love with the hospitable Chinese people and Chinese food.

       我是来自卢旺达基加利的迪迪尔,来中国8年了。我从小就对计算机充满热情,对尝试新技术充满好奇。我曾经读过很多关于中国的故事,讲述了中国发展地如此之快归功于中国人乐于接受和使用新兴技术,这种精神吸引了我,因为我一直想融入快节奏的环境之中。我在中国的生活始于2015年的北京理工大学,在那里我被录取为计算机科学与技术专业的本科生,这是我一生中最美好的时光和经历之一,我将永远珍惜。从北理工毕业后,我在清华大学获得了计算机科学的硕士学位。
       在北京期间,我曾在几家公司工作,比如一家名为绿盟科技的网络安全公司,我在那里做了一年的网络安全研究员实习生。也在中国招生(China Admissions)做了人工智能开发人员(开发聊天机器人,帮助学生申请中国大学,并帮助学生根据自己的职业兴趣选择合适的课程和大学)。后来,在2021夏天,我被位于四川成都的长虹信息安全实验室聘用,目前在那里担任人工智能安全研究工程师。在中国工作期间,我钦佩中国工作场所和工作文化中的许多品质,如注重结果(中国人更喜欢尽快完成任务并按时取得成果)、体育和团队建设活动,这些活动对生活质量有很大贡献,每个人都愿意在遇到问题时帮助你,他们确实重视互相帮助的好处,因为他们相信在帮助别人的过程中,你可以学到更多。
       我对所有在中国生活的外籍人士和有计划来中国的人的最后一句话:
朝着梦想的方向前进,过你想象中的生活,永远不要听或相信你从别人那里听到的一切(尤其是负面的东西),因为每个人都有不同的经历,这取决于他们选择的生活方式,从成功人士那里获得建议总是更好的。

I am Frank from Kigali, Rwanda, been in China for 8 years now. Since I was young I was so passionate about computers and curious about trying out new technologies. I used to read many stories about how China is developing super fast due to how Chinese people are embracing & executing new technologies, and that spirit attracted me because I always wanted to be part of a fast-paced environment. My life in China started at the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 2015, where I got admitted as an undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science and Technology it was one of the best times and experiences of my life that I will always cherish. After my study at BIT, I did my master’s degree in Computer Science at Tsinghua University.
While in Beijing, I worked for several companies such as a network security company named NSFOCUS where I worked as a network security researcher intern for one year and China Admissions where I worked as an AI developer (developing chatbots that help students applying to Chinese universities as well as assisting students to choose right programs to study and universities based on their career interest). Later on, during the summer of 2021, I got hired by Changhong Information Security Lab based in Sichuan, Chengdu where I am currently working as a research Engineer in AI security. During my experience working in China, I admired lots of qualities in the Chinese workplace and work culture like being result-oriented (Chinese people are more into executing things as fast as possible and getting the results on time), sports and team building activities that contribute a lot to the quality of life and everyone is willing to help you in case of problems, they do value the benefits of helping each other because they believe that in helping someone you can learn more.
My final message to all fellow expats living in China and those who have plans to come:
Go in the direction of your dreams and live the life you’ve imagined and never listen or believe everything you hear about/from people (especially negative kinds of stuff) because everybody has a different type of experience depending on how they chose to live and it’s always better to get advices from people who have managed to be successful.

       我是阿玛尔·穆罕默德,来自巴基斯坦,北京理工大学自动化专业2012届本科生毕业生,控制科学与工程专业2017届硕士毕业生。
       2017年毕业后,阿玛尔长期从事中巴文化交流与合作,致力于分享自己丰富的来华留学、工作、生活经验,引导更多来华留学生“讲好中国故事,传播好中国声音”。 阿玛尔现为北京环球英才交流促进会来华留学人才专委会副秘书长,同时致力于搭建中巴国际产教合作联盟平台。
I am Ammar Muhammad from Pakistan. I was an undergraduate student of BIT majoring in automation graduated in 2012, and a graduate student of BIT majoring in control science and engineering graduated in 2017.
Upon completion of my graduate studies at BIT, I have been engaged in China-Pakistan cultural exchange and cooperation for a long time. I am committed to sharing my rich experience in studying, working and living in China, and guiding more international students in China to "tell Chinese stories well and spread Chinese voices well". I am currently the deputy secretary-general of the Special Committee for Beijing Global Talent Exchange Association, and is also committed to building a platform for the China-Pakistan International Industry and Education Cooperation Alliance.

I am Haroon Nomaan from Pakistan. I graduated from BIT, School of Electronics and Communication in 2012. Currently, I am working as a senior engineer at Motorola, Wuhan.

       回顾我们在北理工的时光,我们不能忘记我们的老师对塑造我们成为今天的专业人士所产生的影响。他们对学科和学生的奉献精神给我们留下了不可磨灭的印记,为此,我们由衷地感激。
       在北理工的每一天,老师们都让我们挑战批判性地思考,并激励我们实现超出我们想象的目标。即使在我们一开始还不太了解相关资料的时候,他们对我们的提问也很有耐心。当我们在有时动荡的学术界航行时,他们提供了支持和指导。
       我们衷心感谢所有北理工的老师们。他们对教育下一代的奉献令人敬畏,我们希望通过我们的工作和成就来纪念他们的传承。
As we reflect on our time at BIT, we cannot forget the impact our teachers had on molding us into the professionals we are today. Their dedication to their subjects and their students has left an indelible mark on us, and for that, we are truly grateful.
Each day, they challenged us to think critically and pushed us to achieve more than we thought possible. They were patient with our questions, even when we didn't quite understand the material at first. And they provided support and guidance as we navigated the sometimes turbulent waters of academia.

四川校友会成立于1988年11月,初期共联系川渝地区103家单位,登记在册校友1037位,时任西南兵工局局长姚金山校友任第一届理事会会长。1998年10月12日,四川校友会召开第三届理事与代表会议,选举邹名高校友为四川校友会会长。
经历届在川校友的精心组织和接续奋斗,四川校友会如今已经发展为拥有电子十所分会、航天分会、兵器209所分会、非公分会等10个分会及多个校友联络组,凝聚着数千校友的地方分会。

Join Us in the Alumni Association
 in Sichuan

Introduction of the Alumni Association in Sichuan
The Alumni Association in Sichuan was founded in November, 1988. It established connections with 103 units in the Sichuan-Chongqing region initially. 1,037 alumni were registered. The alumni association's first president was YAO Jinshan, a BIT alumni who worked as the director of the Southwest Military Industry Bureau. On October 12, 1998, the third council and representative meeting of the Sichuan Alumni Association was held, and ZOU Minggao was elected as the president of the Alumni Association in Sichuan.
With the elaborate organization and continuous diligence shown by the alumni, the Alumni Association in Sichuan has developed into a local alumni association with ten branches including the Ten Electronics Branch, the Aerospace Branch, the Weapons 209 Branch, and the Non-Communication Branch, as well as multiple alumni liaison groups and thousands of alumni.

The Alumni Association in Sichuan is the spiritual home for the alumni in Sichuan to express their ‘strong love for the alma mater’. The Alumni Association in Sichuan holds the Spring Festival galas, symposiums for new and old alumni, alumni forums, welcoming new students every year, and organizes a variety of alumni activities such as cultural and sports events and competitions with the help of FAN Chuiying and WANG Xiutang (from the Elderly Alumni Liaison Group of the Sichuan Alumni Association), YU Lei (the leader of the liaison group), LI Huaqing (the leader of the event planning group), LI Kang (the deputy head of the event planning group), WEI Xiaotong (the deputy head of the publicity group), WANG Jianfeng,YI Wei, ZHANG Xuan, ZHAO Daizhuo (the volunteer service group), WANG Dong (from the photography group), and ZHAO Lei (from the football team).
