为了看日出，我常常早起。那时天还没有大亮，周围非常清静，船上只有机器的响声。

本段重点在于合译，译者增用 了when, and, except for几个连接词 ，把汉语表达的意思串联了起来,表达的逻辑之美由此而生 。

天空还是一片浅蓝，颜色很浅。转眼间天边出现了一道红霞，慢慢地在扩大它的范围，加强它的亮光。我知道太阳要从天边升起来了，便不转眼地望着那里。

1，“还没有大亮”=be not quite light，在《看月》中，有个“没有‘断黑’”= is not yet quite dark，“大亮”“断黑”都是程度副词+形容词的结构，通常用quiet+adj结构

2，“机器的响声”译为the droning of the ship engine.。“机器”这里指轮船上的steam engine,即蒸汽发动机，不宜译为macine.另外“响声”译为droning,表示机器的单调低沉的嗡嗡响声，较单纯的sound更有形象感

3，“浅蓝”=bluish，意为“带点蓝的，浅蓝色的”， -ish这个后缀表示”带…性质的，稍…的“，在《离别》和《杜鹃》中，我们也见到过此类构词法，这类表示颜色的词大家要注意，因为文学作品中出于细节刻画的需要，会将颜色描写得十分具体，翻译时也要注重选词的准确和美感哦~

4，“天边”是指海天交接之处，即“地平线”，译为the horizon，之后的“那里”文中处理为the distant edge of the sea,避免了重复

5，“一道红霞”也可译为a streak of rosy dawn或a rosy streak of dawn

果然过了一会儿，在那个地方出现了太阳的小半边脸，红是真红，却没有亮光。这个太阳好像负着重荷似的一步一步、慢慢地努力上升，到了最后，终于冲破了云霞，完全跳出了海面，颜色红得非常可爱。一刹那间，这个深红的圆东西，忽然发出了夺目的亮光，射得人眼睛发痛，它旁边的云片也突然有了光彩。

4，“颜色红得非常可爱”即“发出可爱的红光”译为be aglow with a lovely red,aglow意为“发亮的，发红的”

5，”射得人眼睛发痛“译为dazzling my eyes until they stung,其中until在此意为”以至于…”

有时太阳走进了云堆中，它的光线却从云里射下来，直射到水面上。这时候要分辨出哪里是水，哪里是天，倒也不容易，因为我就只看见一片灿烂的亮光。

The two girls are more like the left hand and right hand of a whole modern female on the strength of their intertwined lives throughout the film. Ansheng is in for the stable life of Qiyue who longs for her freedom in turn. However, both of them find no way to perceive each other’s regrets hidden under the apparent happiness: Qiyue has gained the stability at the cost of the freedom she pursues which has been achieved by Ansheng at the expense of dependency on Qiyue. Standing on opposite sides of the bank of life, they gaze at each other with yearnings for respective landscape yet to go after for their lack of courage.

第二个故事，七月的心里住了一个安生，安生的心里住了一个七月。The second one: They have already been inscribed in each other’s mind.

The mercilessness of the film is faded in from now on. Ansheng represents freedom; whereas Qiyue, selfness. Ansheng is born to be lorn, the distress accounting for her deeply buried pursuit for warmth and dependency. Therefore, she is the baseline in Qiyue’s deepest heart; in other words, the last thing Ansheng will do is to break up with her no matter what she does. Qiyue always feigns victimization in public, but hurts Ansheng in secret regardless of her feelings for counting on Ansheng’s tolerance knowing no bounds. What renders her resentment at Ansheng is not jealousy born of love, but the sense of loss that she is not Ansheng’s only any more.

The third one: Something is cruller than the death.

Qiyue has buried her chase for freedom under an ideal facade in other’s eyes. Her journey of life ends up at her age of 27; however, in another form, continuing in the Ansheng’s novel where she roams around the world living a life as Ansheng before. In the real world, Ansheng restars a mediocre and acquiescent existence for Qiyue’s child, the continuity of her life, because Ansheng has, in some sense, gone with her soul mate forever.

三个故事，呈现给我们一个残忍的世界。两个女孩相互依赖，成为彼此，却又失去彼此。七月与安生恨着吵着骂着打着，却还是爱着。打着为了家明的旗号，最终谁也没有选择家明。感情有很多种，七月与安生之间的感情也很难去界定，友情？亲情？爱情？其实这个答案只有她们自己知道。

The three stories above presents us an indifferent world. The two girls have gone through the transformation form mutual dependency to departure until the end that they interchange their lifestyles in a special way. Under the pretext of competition for Su Jiaming,their lover, temporary resentment interweaved with permanent love has asserted themselves in their relationship. As a result, both of them leave him. It’s hard to classify the relation between them under one type of affections including friendship, family and love. Maybe, only they could provide a reasonable explanation.

The San Antonio Spurs’ effort on Thursday was valiant, even given the circumstances — Stephen Curry went out two minutes into the game, but they were still facing the Golden State Warriors. Their eventual three-point loss, 110-107, was closer than it should have been, and moral victories like that would once have been praised as the Spurs being the Spurs.

我很喜欢该杂志的板块划分，佳句赏析永远是该放在第一位的，正如每个喜欢上的翻译的人，最一开始恰恰是被某句翻译得体的佳句所以吸引，而爱上了翻译，我本人就是看到了“亦余心之所善兮，虽九死其犹未悔”（for the ideal I hold dear to my heart, I will not regret with a thousand times death）的译文，才走上了这条“不归路”，当然那是很久以前了，现在的我，每当看到好的句子，都会记下来，所以引入眼帘的第一板块，无论是对于翻译爱好者，还是对于刚刚邂逅翻译的人，都具有实际意义。

第二部分的“新闻摘要”很实用，与他作用相同的还有第四部分，可以用两种语言来体现当下流行的、让人感兴趣的事情，是一种很新颖的方法。第三部分“风俗习惯”对于不同的人来讲，有不同的意义：对于从事翻译学习的同学来说，了解不同地区的文化有助于把翻译工作做透做实，使译文更贴地气，对读者也更加友好；而另外一部分同学，专业与翻译无关，也可以通过这种方式了解异域文化。

如果可以将第三部分和第四部分位置互换，从某种角度来讲，不失为一个好办法，大致可以理解为引起兴趣-确定兴趣-深入兴趣这样一个过程，尤其因为该杂志受众可能以翻译及英语相关专业为主，这样是否更加妥当呢？当然编者也有自己的考虑，总的来说，是一本很棒的杂志，祝越办越好！
