From August 22nd to 23rd, 2024, the bioSeedin Annual Meeting 2024 and the 6th Biopharma Developer Innovation Conference were held in Shanghai. The event was jointly organized by bioSeedin and ACROBiosystems, with the theme "Explore· Drives· Future." It brought together industry experts, exhibitors, and attendees from around the globe to discuss the latest trends in pharmaceutical research and development. The conference will feature one main forum and twelve sub-forums, attracting over a thousand professionals. Its goal is to promote industry collaboration and communication and to advance innovation and development in the biopharmaceutical sector.

On the afternoon of the 22nd, Dr. Zhang Tianfu, Director of the CMC Drug Manufacturing and Quality Control Division, delivered a keynote presentation titled "Cell Therapy Process Development" at the "Development and Prospects of CGT" forum. Dr. Zhang first introduced market forecasts for cell therapy, which are expected to exceed $20 billion by 2030, with an annual compound growth rate (CAGR) of 22.67%. He specifically noted that the Asia-Pacific and North American regions will be the fastest-growing areas. T-cell therapies continue to lead globally, followed by natural killer (NK) cell and stem cell therapies. Hematologic diseases are the most common indications, and stem cell induction into immune cells holds vast application potential.

Dr. Zhang then provided an in-depth look at the process development for two types of cell therapy products: the process of evolving peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) into T cells and the process of evolving induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) into NK cells. During the process development, Dr. Zhang emphasized the importance of cell evolution goals, key reagent selection, and regulatory compliance.

The White Dove Soars, the Golden Feathers Compete - A Visual Report on the 5th 'White Dove Golden Feather Cup'

1.Poised and Ready to Go: Players Enter the Arena, and Rules are announced.

At 3 p.m. on August 25, the 5th "White Dove Golden Feather Cup" badminton tournament officially kicked off at Court No. 8. The event was organized by the ACRO White Dove Golden Feather Badminton Club, with special guests Mike and Steven participating and sponsoring. The competition was held in a team format, with alternating matches of women's doubles, mixed doubles, and men's doubles to determine the final winning team. The event brought together 27 participants from 11 departments, all of whom enthusiastically engaged in the tournament. Ultimately, Team 1, led by Captain Mike, won the championship with a net win of 22 points.

“Faster footwork, higher jumps, stronger smashes”—the "White Dove Golden Feather Cup" encourages everyone to enjoy sports, relieve stress, sweat it out, and surpass themselves outside of work! With racquets in hand and jumping high, we look forward to seeing more players in future matches!

Looking ahead, this training is of great significance for new employees in terms of quickly adapting to the work environment, gaining a deep understanding of the company structure, adjusting their work mindset, and efficiently engaging in future tasks. On August 15, new employees from diverse backgrounds and professional fields received a special onboarding gift—a NEO (New Employee Orientation) training.

During the training, Ms. Yinmei Qin from the HR department provided a detailed introduction to the company's remarkable development history and explained the core culture, mission, and values of the company. Five important guests were also invited to the training, from Planning Department Manager Feng Liye, SCM Department Manager Jia Suzhen, DPD Deputy Director Dr. Ren Wenlin, as well as HR Department Director Miranda Mi. The 2024 Paris Olympic Games, also known as the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, takes place in Paris, France, from July 26th to August 11th.

2024巴黎奥运会，又称第33届夏季奥林匹克运动会，于7月26日-8月11日在法国巴黎举行。

Previously, Paris hosted the Summer Olympics in 1900 and 1924. This year, the Olympics return after a century to make Paris the second city to host three Summer Olympics after London.

巴黎分别于1900年和1924年举办过两届奥运会，百年之后，奥运重回巴黎，巴黎也成为继伦敦之后第二座举办三届夏季奥运会的城市。

For the first time in the history of the Summer Olympic Games, the Opening Ceremony does not take place in a stadium. Paris 2024 is breaking new ground by bringing sports into the city and the Opening Ceremony is held in the heart of the city along its main artery: the Seine.

For the first time in history, the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games see an equal number of men and women competing. This 50:50 representation of athletes makes the Summer Games the first to reach gender equality.

"Ouvrons Grand LesJeux", meaning "Games Wide Open", is the shared slogan for the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games. For the first time, the Olympics and Paralympics share a same emblem. There are 32 sports and 329 events in the Paris Games with skateboarding, surfing, sport climbing and breaking newly added. Breaking will make its Olympic debut in Paris.

Breaking is a competitive form of breakdancing that includes footwork and athletic moves like back or head spins. Athletes (known as B-boys and B-girls) are judged on a number of criteria during their routines, including technical skill, creativity, style, speed, strength, rhythm and agility.

Paris is adding its own French flair to the Olympics with this new color choice. Ahead of the 2024 Olympics, Paris is embracing purple. Departing from the traditional red-brick clay color, orange, or blue, this marks the first time in Olympic history that purple has been used for the track surface.

When the emblem for Paris 2024 was unveiled in 2019, it marked an iconic moment in the history of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. For the first time ever, the same emblem would be used for both competitions.

The mascots for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games of Paris 2024 are the Phryges.

Phryges are small Phrygian caps, which represent a strong symbol of liberty, inclusivity and the ability of people to support great and meaningful causes. They are kitted out in a red, white and blue colourway, with the golden Paris 2024 logo emblazoned across their chests.

弗里热源自法国著名的弗里吉亚帽。弗里吉亚帽象征着自由、包容和人们支持伟大且有意义事业的能力。弗里热造型采用源自法国国旗的蓝、白、红三色，胸前镶嵌金色巴黎2024会徽。

It's a symbol of revolution and freedom, of striving. It's an icon seen over centuries, from the Notre Dame Cathedral to the Eiffel Tower. More specifically, it's the red bonnet famously worn by Marianne, the artistic personification of the free French republic.

Paris 2024 called on LVMH jeweler Chaumet to design its medals. Globally renowned for its craftsmanship, Chaumet has made the medal into a veritable jewel, with a construction conceived around three sources of inspiration: the hexagon, radiance, and gem-setting.
